hey i live in Java !! , Javanese chickens are the most disease-resistant chickens, as far as i know, and it has the most delicious meat 😄, the meat are so savoury. Most of people here raising them without any grains, they just let them wander around looking for bugs, grass wheat, excess food, etc.
The older breeds are my favorites. The Javas, the Malays, the Dorkings. So much of today's breeds parent stock is disappearing and needs recognition to be preserved.
