Since the hurricane they’ve been volunteering with relief groups. They’ve just been caught up with the house rebuild and their grandma during this season, and that’s OK too. Plus they don’t actually show every other thing like you say. It feels like it but we see a small glimpse of their lives, nowhere near everything.
Just discovered your channel and you have changed the direction of my life. My husband is an attorney that should’ve been a farmer or contractor! I’ve shown him your channel and now we are looking for acreage in the country to move our family of 5. We are leaving the rat race for a better, homegrown, free range more fulfilling life.

You can solder the broken connections on the panel. Remover the battery. Move the charger indoors and out of direct sunligh. Cover the majority of the panel panel, exposing the broken connections. The solder.
Because of Justin Rhodes my husband and I finally started raising chickens about 7 or 8 years back. We're from TX, and a couple of years ago, we went through the Winter Blast. Just about everybody had no power. We had just moved into our new house the year before. It had a chimney, but it was capped. Our stove was an electric stove. But, at least our chickens kept producing even though it was sooooo cold. Now, we have a gas stove, and our chimney is working. Also, glad we were able to help a few folks with eggs through that winter storm. I hope you guys get power soon. May the Lord bless y'all!
Not in the sequence we would have chosen but I'm guessing you have firewood for....years.... A blessing. After losing our home to fire two years ago, I found looking for and acknowledging all the gifts, benefits and blessings that came in the wake of the fire made it so much easier for me to walk thru it. Also a good reminder that by building and participating in community we are on the radar (so to speak) when a disaster like this happens. I think about the families who are hunkered down in the hills who have never cultivated community that may not have anyone checking to see if they are ok. Heartbreaking. Praying for your continued safety and ability to serve your neighbors and community.

The farming community in my county up by Cleveland, OH headed down to NC this week in a 49 truck convoy of hay, feed and supplies. Hopefully you’re able to benefit from some of that. If you hear of Keller Meats from Medina, OH, that’s them. Lots of people here in NE Ohio donated to help out. Blows my mind they got up o 49 trucks.

It's impossible to not relate and respect all that you've done and will continue to have to do not only for your own homestead but for your fellow neighbors and in that area that could be a 10 to even 50 mile radius. When Helene first hit and Milton was announced I called some of my content creator friends in Australia just to see if they had gotten word of what our situation was here in the States and they were already asking what they can do. In about 2 hours I had $25,000 raised and whenever I got up the next morning that number was $250,000.
Hopefully, rather than chipping all the logs, round them up in a few level ground areas and perhaps some portable saw mills can be opted to make lumber. Gates, fencing boards, new posts, etc. Don't forget the shou sugi ban wood preservation technique.
Terrific idea. Portable saw mills are on my prayer list for many in that area. When you're given lemon we'll just make lemonade God will provide the thirsty ones
I know we all hope Helene was a “1000 year storm” but I’d do your repairs like you are getting another one next June! Maybe sooner! We are living in the LAST DAYS!! 😬🙏💗🙏

These hurricanes that have devastated your communities are a definite wake up call. With all the ugly going on in America regarding “politics” and all the hate fueled garbage being tossed around, American helping Americans should be and should have always been, the CORE values that we should have been showing from the beginning. Watching your communities pull together and donate, help, and support each other has made me hit my knees in prayer. I’ve been praying for God to put His hedge of protection around everyone affected by both hurricanes and praying for blessings for those volunteers who are helping. I don’t have anything else to offer but my prayers and I know prayers can move mountains.

Justin im seeing reports from many especially bear independent reporting people and pets sick or dying from the toxins washed down streams and all the mud is toxic. Makes me worry about those farms harvesting to feed everyone if they were flooded. 😢 and everything down stream from erwin are poisoned.

Farmers Friend is the BEST! They replaced my greenhouse after a huge storm blew it over 1 week after I had it put up! I LOVE THEM!!
