    The 146 started as Hawker-Siddeley design and was supposed to use 11700ibf Rolls-Royce RB.415s

    Really great episode. I normally like the crashes with more complex causes, but the simplicity of this crash is what makes it so shocking. I sincerely hope this incident contributed to better safety for all South Americans.
