@@voltrixgames4375well no one fully replaces her in all fairness, it’s just that in the avg level of content there is way to properly utilize all the abilities she has. In higher difficulty content she shines real bright, but that’s niche so unless your a newer player with very few options or someone with a developed roster you would be better off skipping, especially with Arturia and degen around the corner

Jessica alter is the first operator in Arknights which i get on the first pull❤ Really likes her and she was the reason why i played arknights, i will continue playing arknights just for her
Kind of late to the party but after pulling for Jessicalter, I can say that the utility this operator has is no joke. You can use the shield to block more enemies if needed. You can nuke enemies from a direction in jessica's 4 adjacent melee tiles (which can prove VERY useful, trust me). Alongside her satisfying damage output, she can also change directions using her shield, which is SUCH a fun mechanic in some stages. Also, the 4-tile range is EXTREMELY beneficial since you can snipe farther enemies with ease. Did I mention that she can also hit drones (using her skill2 notably)? The shield had a more than reasonable price and redeployment time, jessica herself isn't expensive, she also has an afk skill, you can cancel her ammo-based skill/retreat the shield to make some fun strategies with her nuke mechanic... She is the embodiment of a useful and versatile defender. I don't regret any pull I did on her banner, Jessicalter paid off EXCEPTIONALLY. bonus: She's cute and her character design + chibi are cool. Waiting for the day the sad cat gets a skin (preferably l2d). Awesome video by the way!
I lost the the coin toss for this banner. Got ines instead in 20 pulls and thats all i can sfford for this banner. I cannot miss R6 collab because we know 100 % that R6 banner rerun is coming.
Ash is a solid boss killer and helidrop. I heard Ella is a solid trap master unit. And those 2 are on different banners so might as well save for both since I don't have ash.
@@GranMaj Ash is versatile unit with CC. The notable thing from her skill 2. At max lvl is almost as good as helidrop. When opponent is stun deal more damage. Not to mention early deploy cost is lower. Ash, Elysium and mountain is one hell of combo I bring her more than exu due to versatility.
I think a fun combo will be jessica with ethier texas alter or franka since both our fragile and the 6 second stun and secondary damage can help them take out annoying enemies
It took me 93 pulls to get her but she is worth it, Now I have more Defenders for my squad selection, oh I am a new player btw and I caught up thanks to Arknights generous gifts
Her Line: I am always Chasing something but never made it in time, this time I am not chasing something, I am starting from the beginning. is so powerful that is the point Jessica's character development. too bad, I didn't get her maybe next pull!
Tbh Jessica Alter seems to be better for high difficulty gameplay, but she also does a good job for normal content. She brings a lot of utility to the table and is a very flexible unit. Also her shield during S3 is no joke, it has 2400 defense and can tank EVERY Patriot hit. Can't wait to use her with Shoe so she will buff Jessica an her shield with her seeds ♥
Pull and build for sentimental reasons, especially in my case. I got her in the first 10 pull so I only need to worry about the building part and I hardly find any reason to use a sentinel defender.
skill 1 basically to put to comparison makes jessi "tank - defense stat " marginally better than hoshiguma with s2 no module overall jessi > hoshiguma with module in arts def jessi < hoshiguma with module in phys def hoshiguma scales with total number of enemy blocked, can block the reaaally occasional 4 block enemy jessi comes with a cannon.
I love how Jessica had a taste of COLUMBIAN LIBERATION, and immediately gained 600+ defense, 2000+ HP and went to become a law enforcer in the wild wastes...
I fing her a solid unit but the problem is the amount of good banner we get after this is too much Virtuosa/viviana, hoederer, degenbreacher, ray, shu/zuo lee, and r6s collab It's... Too much for me
Well for me skip Hoederer (unless you don't have Mylnar or want W team to be assembled). Virtuosa, Degen, Shu and r6s are a must. Ray is 50 : 50 depending on Degen banner.

@@pokebuzz123 its still 50/50 in this game though, only thing this game does is increase rate by 2% for every 10 pull you do not getting 6 star unit, so its 8% it go up from there if you luck is bad. Genshin and HSR is guaranteed after 180 at hard pity but devs never really expansion pity system in this game what i seen
@@kyotheman69 they dont have to, i mean the game can be cleared with 3*/4*, while in HSR you need godlike gear for 4* to tackle MoC. I always prefer loads of pull + no compulsory pull compare to exploitive shiet like HSR with deliberately bad gear system.
im on the fence. i should get exactly 300 pulls for next limited banner and i got typhon in 10 so i feel like my luck has now ran out. i do want her though. perhaps ill shoot the 300 for jessicat and just pull for 1 copy both on arturia banner. but i wanted to spark specter alter. aaaah the choices we have to make.
Idk if you are saving for specter alter just cus you like her but i replaced her long time ago. Shes a good unit but once i got gavial alter she was p much useless in my team.

Jester unleashing her full mag with S2 against hordes of crocodiles is satisfying
