This has to be the BEST Virgin Rage cover take I ever seen. How Sonic enters the song, how he laughs at Mario being mad instead of getting his mic back, Mario’s instrument choice being a music block, and the sprites are amazing too! You, pal earned yourself a sub.

I LOVE how Mario and sonic has they're part of the stage decorated with they're own game props, like the fire flower on Marios side and the extra life monitor/box on sonics side. I also love how sonic just laughs when Mario losses it.

I'm not that huge into the whole FNF game or fandom, but I checked this out on a whim and have to say that I'm loving the sprite work on this. Both Sonic and Mario's half of the screen are done great in their respective styles, with proper sprite work in what seems to be the correct pixel proportions (some minor zooming/stretching aside). Fantastic job.
You’re animations are really awesome, really mimics the artstyle of the early 80s-90s games between the rivalry of blue fast hedgehog and the red plumber.
Also gotta love of how tails and Luigi are just vibing.

this is actually real footage taken of mario and sonic in like 1992 when sonic was beating out mario in the gaming market. im glad mario eventually got his shit together bc this was such a low point for him. ok jokes aside, rly fantastic cover! the sprite work is SO SO GOOD, id love to see more rly customized covers like these

Mario, his strength of lightly tapping an entire castle over with a tap from his foot is insane not to mention the enormous beasts he can just clobber. Not to mention, Mario is a STAR CHILD, can shatter planets with ease, and fights several other star children. He is no push over.

i like to think that if the guitar part went on for longer, Classic Sonic would've legit turned into Super Sonic.
There was some sort of glow coming off of him and the fact there were multiple "outlines" of him, so he could have gone Super.

Honestly, we can just compare the two on a scale of their games.
Sonics games include really good graphics, like actually, decent story, but not too good gameplay.
Mario's games have decent graphics, often C+P story (not including spinoff/crossover games), and decent gameplay.
In terms of Graphics and Story, Sonic succeeds in this case, but in Gameplay terms, Mario would succeed.
