This was a project of mine that started a long time ago. And I mean, a looooooong time ago. I actually wanted to do the whole song but I was forced to cut it off since Vegas crashed on me every time I opened the file. So when it didn't crash miraculously, I decided to cut the song and finish it, right then and there.
The story is simple, but the way I assembled doesn't make it seem that way. It has got present and past all over the place so sometimes it's hard to follow. But all in all, it goes like this:
Shikamaru had been assigned to a dangerous mission, to which Ino wanted to go on as well and she kept asking to go on and such before she finally got the place. Shikamaru doesn't like that and he doesn't want her to go because he knows how dangerous it is and he can't risk losing her. But someway, somehow, they find an understanding. They go on the mission and she gets killed, or rather she gets badly injured, by an explosion, and although Shikamaru originally thought he saved her, he finds out later by his dad that Ino didn't make it in the hospital. So he blames himself for her death, and avenges her (which btw, when she scream watch out, it's not her it is her ghost), and he slowly accepts her death.
That's it, I think. :) I hope you enjoy! I know it's been such a friggin long while I haven't made a ShikaIno!

this satisfied my ShikaIno heart so much. I have loved and shipped them, since literally the series began and even to this day when i see them in the same frame in boruto i am just struck so deeply with what could have been. This video was edited so well, it had a proper storyline that you adhered to. It was pretty sad, true, but the way you edited it made it worthwhile. Especially towards the end when he calls her troublesome even after she's been gone. That is such a SHikaIno thing to say
I SO REMEMBER THIS!!!! it was an instant fav. from me :3 and i was so sad when it dissapeared from my playlist T.T but now it's back better than ever!!!! YAY!!! ^^

aww, i really loved this! Goo Goo Dools's songs are not so used here, even if they are totally amazing! I think it would have been better if you followed more the beats, but i guess you paid more attention on the storyline, uhn? ;) Anyway, amazing work! :D

Are the voices actually theirs or did you borrow fro other animes or characters from Naruto? Especially the part where he says its troublesome even though she's gone or something?
