At start I was thinking Alexander deserve bad ending but as the story goes on I kind of felt bad for him and the way he is was not his fault its his fathers fault
BUT EVEN AFTER SEEING HIS MOTHER SUICIDE CAUSE HIS FATHERS INFIDELITY (CHEATING) INTEAD OF LEARNING FROM IT HE ACTED LIKE HIS FATHER CHEATED MIYA Female lead WHICH SHOWS WHAT HE GOT HE DESERVED EVEN IF HE REALLY LOVED MIYA AT THE START HE SHOULD HAVE ASKED MIYA TO HELP HIM OVERCOME HIS CHILDHOOD TRAUMA WHILE SEEING A DOCTOR TOO, BUT HE CHOSE TO CHEAT AND MAKE FL FEEL LOWER AND DEBTED. MIA GOT HER HAPPY ENDING I AM HAPPY FOR BOTH FEMALE LEAD AMD HER HUSBAND AS SHE DESERVES HAPPINESS
I only pray & hope that every person like Alexander,, suffering from depression,, able to grasp the light & illuminate life to live to its fullest rather than lost in the sea of darkness
I totally understand what the writer & you are trying to convey..and it is very difficult subject for anyone to try & discuss but you did a good job trying & I truly mean that!!🤕🤕😢😢😰🙀🙀 and this from R.N. Trauma Nurse IN N.Y.C.
I liked different version of this plot...where the fiancee slaps the scumbag for keeping a canary while saying he loves only his fiancee...😂😂..leaving him while Taking the other girl with her for a world around trip😂😂
Started out thinking the worst of Alexander and his treatment of Mia and behavior with Lily. As the story continued and more background was revealed, started to see more clearly into his character. The ending made me go back and reassess all of story's previous events from a completely different perspective. Mia found her happiness but Alexander never would and never could. Depression is a demon that sucks the life out of you.
Dang it, I can't hate Alexander😩. I actually feel so much sympathy for him. Depression is an ugly monster that is hard to fight off, & self destruction is often the only way to feel reassured. The thought process of a depressed person, is different from that of a healthy one. The FL tried to understand him, but ultimately he pushed her too far.
I think his friend should have told Mia what he told her after Alexander died. What was the point of towing her AFTER nothing could be done. She would've understood that it wasn't anything SHE did or didn't do, & she wouldn't have suffered so much. He only gave her that cryptic "he will never love YOU" message, & left it open for misinterpretations.
He never loved the highschool "sweetheart", she was just the perfect weapon to use against the FL. This is why that malicious women hated Mia so much. Because she knew that Alexander had never shown anything remotely close to "loving" someone, like he did with the FL. She knew he was only using her to push Mia away, so she used advantage that to punish the Mia (twisted psycho😒). Maybe that's why Alexander let her off easy, when she hurt Mia. He probably felt guilty that HE pushed her enough, to want to hurt someone he "cared" about.
He obviously loved her, he just didn't want to admit or allow himself to recognize his feelings for her as "love". Because of his traumatic childhood & depression.
I believe that if his friend had told the FL about Alexander's depression & trauma. She would've probably been the only one he would've opened up about, if she had confronted him about it. She could've helped him work through that psychological ILLNESS. Or at best, it could've helped her heal & understand everything better. At least that way she would've been given the opportunity to make the choice to leave him, & break free from it all. OR stay with him, & patiently coax him back to health.
He loved her enough to allow her childhood savior near her. Alexander had the means to keep those 2 apart, but he didn't. He even reminded her of her pst with the "new guy" . It was his way of letting her go, so that she could live the happy life that he wanted her to have. But that he wasn't emotionally capable of giving her.
It's sad, & I feel so bad for both of them. To me, the story felt more about Alexander, than Mia.
I loved it, even though it was a bittersweet end. It was well written, the characters were believable. The way the subject of depression was addressed, was well made.
So good job to whoever the original author is, & thanks for the work😁🙏🏼💖.
