People who haven't been to cliffs don't know how loud the rattler is when your standing next to it
And the screaming that comes with it lol

Ohhh man I haven't gone there in years! I remember in the 90's when I was a kid, the park had a western themed live show that would take place in front of the scenery the train goes by near the start of the video. Got pulled up on stage with the crew and one of the dancers taught me how to do my first backflip! (With some help of course, lol)
It's cool to see some of the changes alongside the leftover classics like the Galaxi, Tilt-A-Whirl, and Music Express!

I love bumpy wooden roller coasters makes it more fun.
I wanna see a big Six Flags theme park in New Mexico called “Six Flags New Mexico” and it’ll have lots of cool rides and attractions like Coaster Express roller coaster in a Wild West section, a Chupacabra roller coaster, a Sidewinder roller coaster, some DC themed rides like an Aquaman ride, and lots of other cool rides and attractions!

It’s such a small park but it’s so fun. I do wish they kept some of the old rides in some places cause they looked so fun and I never got the chance to ride them
The train was my favorite when I was a kid!
I just moved to ABQ and I remember eating at a Taco Bell once and then going, “oh crap that’s an amusement park.” So when you said you can see the Taco Bell from the New Mexico Rattler I nearly died laughing.

I believe the rattler is called the rattler because of how bumpy it is 😂 the bruises on your side after the ride is only part of the experience
I live in this town I love cliffs I love going with my friends I recommend the rattler if you like some of the scarier rides or the musical express And the cliff hanger is fun too but this is only my opinion
Not gonna lie, this is the first time I've ever heard somebody call New Mexico Rattler rough. When I rode it last year, I would've just called it aggressive.
On every ride, people on the train said "Ouch that was painful" or "Never again, that was bad" It may have gotten bad recently maybe??? I have a pretty high tolerance for bumpiness, but this was the bumpiest ride I've been on in at least a decade.
I just rode it today and I can definitely say it's rough. As much as I love that about it, you cant deny it 💀

I remember when this first time riding this is 2002 when it was built it was not that rough and bumpy. It needs some work
The last time I went to this park, they still had sky buckets that went right over Taco Bell.

That Falling Star is the Banshee from Holiday World and I miss it so much!
When I was there they had a roller coaster that was blue with sea shells and sea stars on it, that was like 20 years ago lol
They got rid of the Yo-Yo? That was my favorite as a kid!

@@wetblanket4150 a swing ride. It was next to the log ride, on that pad in the middle of that lagoon where that round, blue thing is now. It was fun flying over the water.
The yo-yo is the chair ride, they just changed the name
Most all wooden coasters are bumpy, but it still looks fun.

wish western playland managed to get a ride as awesome as the new Mexico rattler. Hurricane is alright but the park needs something bigger

Do you remember that sky ride that would take you out to San Mateo right over the Taco Bell? It's been taken out, but it was a popular ride when I was a kid in the 80s. It did seem like something easy for a kid to slide out of & go splat.

This is a cute carnival 🎡 lol can’t compare this as an actual amusement park like Carowinds or busch Gardens.

Wood Rollercoasters in the modern age are intentional.
Bumpier, jarring. Its nostalgic thrill. But this particular one was built with intention.
Cliffs is the spot! 3 generations of happy riders with affordable tickets, all day fun, and wholesome fun.
I miss going here only went here once
