    Brilliant!!! This is a great way for us to practice our listening skills, even our speaking skills as well (shadowing for example), learn a ton of vocabulary and expressions, etc, while we listen to a great conversation. I really enjoyed it. 👏🏼👏🏼

      I think if you can understand this video then yes, you have good comprehension because me and my dad were just talking as naturally would! Keep practicing by listening to people with different accents and different ages, as people’s English speaking can be so different from person to person! ☺️ thanks for your lovely comment!

    Hey laura I really like your real conversation videos like this and the other one you do on a table where you talk normally(not slowly, clearly) this helps me a lot to understand conversations with my british flat mates please do make this type of videos more i didnt see much this type of video on your channel.     The other day i watched the video half way, and today continued watching the remaining part.
    It was really lovely experience, felt like we were sitting in your living room next to you and enjoying the chat
    BTW my DP photo is from 2006, taken in london
    And recently even I turned 50
    So i cud very much relate to all your Dad's likes 😊

    After watching your this video I m very disappointed because that I was getting your conversation only 15% 😢 but I watched your other videos so I was getting 60 to 80% So I have to work hard more.

    Why is it much easier to understand your dad's accent than yours? You've got RP, haven't u? What about your dad's one?

      There might be a few reasons for this! I grew up in Birmingham so I have a few things in my accent that are influenced by the Birmingham dialect. My Dad’s parents are priests so his influences spoke in very clear, slow ways. I am younger so I use more slang and my diction is a little more sloppy!
