Mount Baldy, a Steep Hike with Wildflowers Overlooking 2 Lakes - Easton, Washington, USA

A stunning peak just off I-90 on the east side of the Cascade Mountains with views throughout the hike. It overlooks Kacheesas Lake on one side with Mount Rainier in the distance and the even more beautiful Cle Elum Lake on the other side framed by the Enchantment Peaks. The wildflowers here were also prolific! This mountain gets a lot of sun and has no water so be prepared.
Stats: 7.85 miles, 2970 ft elevation gain/loss, 4.5 hours moving, 5.25 total. We are moderate paced hikers who hike weekly.

Road/Parking: Road was dirt for a bit but pretty decent other than one of the turns which had a pretty big hole and it was full of water which made it hard to gage the depth. There were a couple sedans at the TH. The TH serves several trails and gets a bit narrow when you get close. No toilet at the TH and no parking fee. ATT & T-Mobile service at the TH and the top.

This is really beautiful. I've seen video of the top of Mount Baldy on a clear day and it's beautiful. Even better when you can see snow on the mountain tops. I subscribed to your channel also.

@@SavvyExploring I think you're video was great! The video's I saw were from planespotting channels who were streaming from LAX and had optimal conditions to zoom in.
