I'm not sure if I'm just confused and don't know how to set it up, but for me main issue with Nord 2 is lack of notification light when phone is locked. I had 5t earlier and now I really miss that discrete notification green or white dot on the corner of the screen when I have new msg or mail. I didn't see anyone talk about it on this reviews so if you have a solution please advise.
I dumped iPhones for OnePlus 3 and 6T. Each was great for two years. The OnePlus 9 is a hot mess I was forced to unload in just 3 months. The phone is unusable in summer or warmer climates, has to be turned off outside. If this Nord runs cooler and within more appropriate parameters there should be a recall of the 9s and this phone should be offered instead. Unfortunately I had to give up on these clowns altogether when they secretly throttled the 9 instead of admitting it was a piece of shit. My Mi 11 Lite is all I need and it was only $319.

kinda hard decision to make as I plan to upgrade from my Oneplus 5T, I know that I don't need the top-performing phone as I don't play mobile games very often but the features I need are mostly on found on the flagship ones (Oneplus 8T or 9) but I'm hesitant to spend that about of cash again like what I did buying the 5T at launch. the trying to consider buying the Nord 2 line but I am not sure about its mediatek chipset after 1 to 2 years comparing to the SD888

The main camera on the Nord 2 sure does perform better, but the 8MP ultrawide looks kinda underwhelming compared to the 16MP ultrawide on the 8. Also the slightly curved screen on the 8 doesn't bother me much. 🤔

Just 2 weeks after I got my Mi 11 Lite LTE to replace my 3.5 yo Nokia 8 :/ It seems like a nice package. The Mi 11 is doing great, the better camera and chipset of the Nord 2 aren't what I'm after. It's Oxygen OS. I'm not an AOSP elitist and I actually like many aspects of MIUI but man does it feel half-baked :c

This phone is awesome! The display is super smooth for gaming and browsing, the processor handles everything I throw at it, and the camera is no slouch either - great pics in most light. Very good phone, no question. But the price is a killer cause i don't believe the price fits what you get out. Almost everything is identical to last year's Nord except for the chip and stereo speakers but much higher price.

This phone is awesome! The display is super smooth for gaming and browsing, the processor handles everything I throw at it, and the camera is no slouch either - great pics in most light. Plus, the fast charging is a lifesaver! Just a heads up, the back can be a fingerprint magnet and scratch easily. Very good phone, no question.
But the price is a killer cause i don't believe the price fits what you get out.
Almost everything is identical to last year's Nord except for the chip and stereo speakers but much higher price.
Upgrade in chipset, charging nd camera... that will surely cost extra
