I was at this game in the away end. I remember walking down the street afterwards, congratulating the home fans, and then drinking until the early hours of Sunday morning. Normally I wouldn't have dared as there was always a risk of trouble at the Vetch, but that was a fantastic day. I was rooting for you on Sunday too. A lot's changed at both clubs since that day.
Now see where both of these clubs are! IT's great to see. These are true football stories, not billionaires spending hundreds of millions on egotistical players
The first ever game I remember. I was only 6 and it was one of the greatest experiences, since then I’ve been a long term season ticket holder, ten years and counting. Absolutely love this game.
I will never EVER forget this game! I took my wife, my 6 month old daughter and my 11 year old brother to their first game, just in case the swans failed to win! Now, all 3 are massive Jacks for life (although, not as much as me!). Still need to pinch myself when I see us the PL when the memories of Crewe and Carlisle away are still fresh...
I agree with you there mate. I hardly ever used to miss a home game, and in recent years didn't think I needed a season ticket because the Liberty was rarely over two-thirds full ! How wrong I was. Where did all those plastic fans come from ?
THIS MAKES YOU THINK OF HOW FAR WE HAVE COME AND WE STILL HAVE BRITON AND TATE THAY ARE WHAT SWANSEA CITY STANDS FOR PASSION THROUGH THE GOOD TIMES AND THE BAD

With all due respect if you had a season ticket in the championship before we went up, it was very easy and simple to renew your ticket. £275 for mine in the first season in the prem for renewing. Had another person next to be get a ST fairly easily too at the time too who had not previously been a ST holder.

All I can say is 'I was there'
What I wouldn't give to stand on the north bank again.
Have to say it's some achievement considering they won the League Cup today...

It was only 2 days ago that we were extremely unlucky to beat Napoli by at least 4-0.
