    You should look into the Opal X Caddis, a variation of Craig Matthews Caddis. Tied by Dennis Potter. I find the Opal tinsel to really emphasize the concept of a crippled Caddis.

    Would you ever want to palmer a hackle down the body or is that too buggy? I really like the camera angle and work and the patient way you are teaching it.

      Benjamin Johnston the elk hair caddis has a palmeras hackle body, but the X caddis doesn’t.
