@@soaringturtle2388 Agreed, power creep has been real. Next DLC will be no different. I only do PVE so maybe the old weapon perks would be helpful in some way but I doubt it. Be mad at Bungie...they sunset sunsetting...datto didn't.
Tbh the datto vault clearing is just dumb to me. I mean cmon it’s there vault whoever your asking to clean up datto they can keep and get rid of whatever they want.

It was such a good all round gun to use. It was dynamic sway reduction and moving target (it could’ve also been rampage but it’s been so long since i’ve last had one 😭)

I wanna hang it up ! Watched A Datto video about cleaning ! I then went and erased all my weapons that I could not infuse . Boy do I feel duped 😢.
Is armor still going to have power levels? Or is there some other way to get your power level increased now, like just by doing activities?
So if you're not the power leader, you'll end up as a power bottom... great 😂
The only reason I feel no anger here over the re-introduction of old weapons being viable is because I always scrapped my weapons after their respective time was up.
BUNGIE was the reason I got rid of my old weapons, and BUNGIE is now gonna let me grind for an updated version for the new era. It is what it is, but hey, I'll hunt for another Steelfeather Repeater.

I’m going back to my favorite armor for the hunter in destiny history the completed new monarchy faction set from the faction wars the red tribal paint just looks soooo good and virtually nobody has the gear anymore

Now if they'd unsunset DLC a lot of us legitimately paid for or create a system through which we can play it without changing the landscape of the game.

I'm both thrilled and yet pissed off about un-sunsetting weapons simply due to deleting so much gear that was rendered unless years earlier. Welp..... time to tear my hair out trying to get some of my favourite weapons back. But honestly it is a good change. Bungie is on a role with the good news lately.....hopefully it'll last.

omg i can feel like i can return to the game now that i have my old Hush bow back.
i fully recognise how not great it is compared to recent things but i solely used Hush and a shotgun for ages. i think i had 3k total kills on it in crucible or something bonkers. i find almost every other weapon boring since i got it
So I got rid of my favorite pluperfect roll for no reason (my friend baited me into getting rid of ALL my sunset weapons)
I hooe we get a lore card on shay again in the final shape dlc seeing guardians using light and darkness abilities at once with prismatic after the raid and campaign

Yea I knew bungie would pull that with all the old gear, and I always knew that there was no issue with allowing said gear to continue alongside everything new coming in, they just wanted everyone to grind endlessly.

I think the oldest thing I got in my vault is my Gnawing hunger and I think my old seraph smg although I do miss my old hammer head and spare rations.
