Yes. The dark clouds, and, what looks like rain. Soo jealous. Live in Phoenix. Had at least 11 straight days of over 110. Lived here my whole life. Never get used to it.

I purchased some of this caramel at a local farmers market and in making it they added just a bit of apple brandy, it was the best caramel sauce I ever had!!!!!!

Cajeta with goats milk is pure Gold! That looks so delicious! I buy the Myenberg Goat Milk from Walmart. So glad to see when you choose to take it off the heat. I am making a Chocoflan cake by Emmymadeinjapan and you pour some cajeta sauce in bottom of well buttered bundt pan before adding batter and, lastly, flan mixture. OMG. sigh...Dreamy😍
Your goat family is just the most adorable things! I used to have a goat myself but had to rehome him when we moved to town. He went to a good home but I loved that little thing. I so enjoy watching yours!

I’m making a half batch with *shop pasteurised full cream cows milk*
So far I’ve mixed it once (it tastes like eggy milk drink
And it’s forming milk skins (does goat milk not form skins when cooked?)
I made it, it’s delicious!
It’s not a smooth runny one (I accidentally mixed in a thin milk skin) but it’s super tasty
Do give it a try it’s worth it
(For me it condensed to about 1/3)
Made it again with shop bought pasteurised goats milk and holy moly it’s ssoooooo good

If your making caramel and dont have goats milk ive used whipping cream instead. It turns out lovely, but i recently bought some goat milk from my local farmers market and cant wait to try this. Ill just cut the recipe to 3 cups and hope it works.

I made the Cajeta from store bought goat milk it worked great 💗🐐also made it from store bought cow milk also yum. Whole milk in both instances 😊

So yummy! I like to dip the vanilla yogurt pretzels in carmel. The apples & cinnamon remind me of fall. I can' t wait for cooler weather.
Made a single batch and it came out perfect. Made a double batch and it never reached that thick bubble stage... Taste amazing however. I will stick with single batches! Very very amazing taste.

My mom would make caramel too, and the type of boil you get at towards the end is called a 'Rolling Boil'! Just wanted to let you know!
