    Flowers transformed into cones in early May. Cones are almost ready to be harvested.

    This is a research hopyard at the UF/IFAS Gulf Coast Research and Education Center in Balm, Florida. We use LED supplemental lighting to control the timing of flowering. In this experiment, we are comparing two trellis designs (straight trellis vs V-trellis) at three heights (12, 15, and 18 ft).
