    Hey guys! In the description there are links to my LL algorithms as well as the 10.87 average using 2-look OLL and 2-look PLL. The purpose of that video is to show that you can be really good at last layer even without knowing many algorithms, but your execution and recognition have to be really good.
    BUT if you want to learn algorithms, I have videos for COLL, OLLCP, and Winter Variation. Learning some easy ZBLLs is also good but that's only for the truly dedicated.

    Lol, I got an idea for you. If you ever use only one cube for a tutorial, maybe try restickering it with blue and green or red and orange switched so that the color scheme is correct when you flip the video to make it right hand rather than left. Nice video btw!!

      @Begebralex 6 лет назад

      @@Begebralex Because Jperm is left-handed while most people are right, so he shows most of his tutorials right-handed but does it left-handed but flips it while editing, thus making the color scheme incorrect... If any of that makes sense.

    • @JPerm
      @JPerm  6 лет назад +16

      I could but it doesn't really make a difference haha. plus only some parts of the video are flipped. I did most of the U perms and OLLs without flipping for example, but flipped the G perms

    • @DailyCuber
      @DailyCuber 6 лет назад +1

      @@JPerm 2:25, for example. My mind registers the color mix as being either the other U perm, or the correct U perm with yellow on the bottom, but yellow is clearly on the top, lol. So it is confusing to me, but idk if it's just me or not since I solve one white only, and am sub-9 so I know my color scheme really well.

It comes naturally after a while. I only know the basic oll and pll. Some difficult ones to. It just takes a lot of practice and repetition.

    J Perm, is your Valk stickered incorrectly? With yellow on top and red in front, blue was on the right side. I don’t even know if it was a Valk, but one of your cubes has incorrect stickers for green and blue.

    Hey, I am not new to solving the 3x3 because I've been solving it for longer than a year. But, I just use the beginner's method to solve the cube and can solve it in 1.4 minutes if lucky (Usually 1.30). Now, I want to learn the advanced methods to improve my speed. I have learnt CFOP, but without learning any algorithms. I really want to solve faster, but when I start learning the advanced methods, I start to question myself that is this even worth the time ? I start to feel like I am wasting my time. So is this normal in any cuber ? I start to think that there is no point at all in wasting time in cubing. Though, I also think that it's like a hobby for me ! So, do you think that I should try learning faster methods ?

      watch my PLL or G perm tutorial! For R perms you can either find the 5 checker pattern (described in my last layer tips video) or by the blocks

    Great video! I learned full 2-sided pll recog a while ago bc you talked about it in a video. It’s super useful, but the only annoying case with it is when you get the F perm, as you can’t know where the solved bar is. It can be either on the back or on the left, if you see a checker pattern with one color surrounding it on the front and right. I wish there were a way to know where the block is for sure when you see those sides of the F perm!

    • @JPerm
      @JPerm  6 лет назад +3

      look at the 2 right stickers and 2 left stickers. whichever pair is opposite colors (like red/orange), the block is hiding behind there :)

    I quit cubing for a while, so my LL is kinda rusty. I got back into cubing about a month ago, and my F2L improved dramatically, even better than where I left off. Before I quit, I averaged around 12-13 seconds with LL taking up only 2.5-3 seconds. Now, I average 10-11 seconds, and my F2L only takes 6 seconds on average but my LL takes over 4 seconds. Should I just keep drilling my algs?
