Sorry to hear your sad news. I lost my mum over 25 years ago, and I still miss her. The way these pencils are layering gives an almost fluid appearance. Amazing. I have Derwent Inktense pencils, which I dont use enough. But I will look into these Lightfast pencils. Regards Liz.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mom. I will be praying for you and your family. I remember losing my dad devastated me because he was my only family so we were very close. A few days ago I lost one of my service animals as she was murdered. These are my favorite pencils in the world. I hope to get the second set of colors that they released for them someday. I'm severely disabled and have no income that I can spend on art supplies, but I have hope.
So very sorry for your loss. It is such a profound loss to lose a parent. I lost mine in the late 1990s. Long ago, but it they are still missed. Be kind and patient with yourself, as we all grieve differently and we all have lapses back into the grief process. You are a wonderful person, you will adjust to the loss, but your mom will always be in your heart.

I have watched so many videos over the last year and this one hit me. Your work is beautiful and very inspiring and your story about your mum is just as beautiful. My dad who was in Germany after WW2 used to draw me pictures of Spitfires and ME109s and he inspired me to draw. Art class at school in the 70s/80s was my favourite class. My mother had also been sick for quite sometime, yet I can't help feeling alone and unable to sleep. So, thank you for continuing to make content available.
