- A big fish in a small pond, Sid Diamond formerly known as Young Sid has his goals set on an international stage as he prepares a new mixtape titled ‘Cohibas & Cubalibres' - Inspired by his latest trip to Mexico and Cuba
The mixtape showcases the results of his most recent excursion to New York City in late 2010 where he recorded a number of songs in some of the cities renowned studios. It also high lights a more mature and focused Sid creating music that speaks not only to his core audience but articulate his diversity and ability to capture the attentions of new fans.
In addition to the ‘Cohibas & Cubalibres’ mixtape, Sid Diamond has an album titled 'Diamond District' that will follow swiftly afterward. With the Album, and it’s mixtape predecessor, Sid Diamond aims to not only offer a refresher course on why he is deemed the best in New Zealand, but also lament his claim to being the most internationally capable artist in this countries ‘Urban’ genre.
