How does one actually do teletherapy? How can you share materials? How do you keep students' attention? After a short intro, I demo three main features of the Zoom platform: 1) The whiteboard, 2) Sharing a PDF and shared writing, 3) Sharing a website with students

I need help organizing each child's speech therapy links in individual folders on my laptop, I have a few minutes between kids and I need to be fast and organized. Any tips?
I highly suggest using Google Classroom because it integrates with Google Drive and each child can have their own easily accessible folder! This video walks you through it: ruclips.net/video/uFX7DD3gXJA/видео.html

Thank you for sharing your experience. Love that you give therapy in Spanish. Such a need. I am an SLP from Ca. and I am starting a dyslexic practice with a plan to do teletherapy. Have you heard of Theraplatform? It is HIPPA compliant. Was wondering your thoughts. Would you consider doing a video on how you market your service and billing management? Much needed info for us newbies.

How do you pull up the tools? How do you switch between screens? I do not know how to pull up white board, PDFs, etc.

Thanks for commenting Mary! Yes, it's hard to record my control panel when I'm recording a session like I did for this demo. I think I need to do another video where I figure out how to share the control panel features.
Sarah, I see that you use PDFs, white board and websites but HOW do you do this with zoom. Where do you click to add and show them?
Hi Abby, there is a pop up menu that gives you the option to share. When I record using Zoom, you can't show the control panel, but I tried to insert some screenshots into the video to show my perspective. I might need to make a new video with the panel. Thanks! :)

Yes I do! I use the version provided to me by my contract company so I'm sure it meets HIPAA standards. I think if you are doing teletherapy temporarily due to the global pandemic, the standard is lower (per the department of Health and Human Services HHS) because HHS wants people to receive their services even if it's not on a fully compliant HIPAA platform. Is the interactive whiteboard that allows you to annotate PDFs part of Zoom or part of another program? Also, when you share your screen, can you still see your client? When I share my screen, I can no longer see my client and i'm wondering if that will be a problem, thanks!
Yes, the interactive whiteboard is part of the Zoom platform! When I share my screen, I see my student minimized. I wonder if there's a setting that you can change to make the student visible.

Yes I do! I have groups with students who are at the same school. I think it would be tough to have a group with students in different locations and still protect students' privacy
