As a repeater and student of great mentors i would tel you these... Have 3 test series of TIMES IMS & IQUANTA. Iquants varc is trash the fancy word they use its not like cat but rather a NMAT or SNAP paper. Now the biggest rivalry in TIMES: VARC is relevant for CAT and QUANTS is on tougher side. IMS: QUANTS is relevant and VARC on really a tougher side. Its above CAT level with sometimes a irrelevant questions. Whereas DILR is moderate in both the mocks. May happen few people dont agree this but with experiencing alot of mocks from past year to this year. i can easily interpret this. And also many my peer group analysed the same.
And the other thing you said " i often think of skipping tough question in a RC byt can't".. i can very well relate to it as well 😂.. it just feels like itna time time invest kar diya RC padhne me ab question skip karna may be expensive

Completely agree with you bro.. i scored a 96 percentile in CAT23 with a raw score of 28 in VARC.. hardly able to fetch a double digit score in SIMCAT VARC this time.. the questions and options are unnecessarily complex as compared to actual CAT questions. Faltu me confidence down ho raha
I'm preparing for CAT 2025, I recently started CAT prep on my own. Before I start my prep I took a mock and was able to get 58 percentile. I didn't attempt a single question in LRDI as I have not yet started LRDI prep. But I did attempt 16 questions in VARC and 1 in quants. I answered 9 questions in varc correctly and answered 1 in quants correctly. What you think about this? Do you have any suggestions for me? It will help me a lot of you reply.
What are you doing so differentlty in LRDI.. Lik 27 is dream score. I can never achieve that. What different you think you have done that has helped you this much in LRDI ?
nothing diff bhai sets comprehend aur unka logic sahi se baith raha h as of now baki one thing which i follow is jo joj sets nahi hue i do it after the mock without seeing the soln until its maths ya alg formula based set, ye nahi karoge toh improvement mushkil h
@@FrazerDsilva11 I got that but Like some sets of IMS are way too hard... At times i feels it is impossible to do that in 40 minutes. There are lots of cases and also 3-4 equations come into play.
bro simcat - 9 VARC was really trash. I got overall 50 with 30 in DILR, 24 in QA and -4 in VARC. If IMS would have set CAT VARC, then i thing in 25 30 people will get 99 😂. And also in some Take Homes also they do something similar on VARC. And regarding that you tested a strategy, I also did this in i guess SIMCAT 10, and the scores plummeted 😂
I'm really struggling with lrdi, ek bhi set solve nhi ho rahe he, mocks me bhi aur practice k time bhi... solve krne ka mann hi nhi ho raha ab tho...idk wtf i should do to solve atleast 1 set during mocks.💔

I got 44 in simcat 9. Varc was really difficult. The VA was next level. I scored only 5 in that. LRDI was easy. QA was also doable.

0 in varc bhai i think its waste of time instead i skip hard q also in lrdi i read all the 4 sets in 4-6 mins and then gamble the order

mock ke baad phir se without timer and without seeing the soln solve karna hi padega varna improvement nahi hoga

i used to but it consumes much more time and isnt that helpful for me as i can retain info very well

3-5 hrs depends on the score and difficulty
