I love the Tomlin's Song ! I feel such a progress from learning and playing it ! Thanks Tomlin and big to Filip Jers for this introduction to jazz. Even if i'm just beginning, the I / IV / V blues routine can feel a bit limiting : now a new world and an other rabbit hole open for me ! 😂

This was a terrific discussion. I have taken a ton of stuff from this to work on. It will keep me busy for months. As an aside, I enjoyed watching you, Tomlin, being as much a student as we all are for a change.

Sometimes listening to guys at this level can be detrimental to your own progress, the pure perfectionism......

Makes ya wanna throw your harps away sometimes, but listen to it again and again and we can digest some of it.

Hi Tomlin, great video! Are the arpeggios available with the notes numbered as harmonica tablature? Or are are they available by signing up to the Patreon course with Filip?

This was absolutely brilliant! I've been postponing watching this (because of the length) for months. Now that I finally made time, I going to have to go at it again. So much to digest. When's the book on Jazz harmonica coming out? I've been using "Jazz Improvisation for Saxophone" by Lennie Niehaus for the flute. It's also useful for harmonica.
