Just found this video through a work training. I absolutely love the passion she has for astronomy, the night sky, and preserving Bryce Canyon. Instant like.

Years ago I drove across country with my dad from Los Angeles to New York. We stopped in bryce canyon one night, my dad woke me up to see the night sky and I was just absolutely blown away with what I saw. Just unbelievably mind blowing. I've never seen anything like it since then

I use this video when I do interpretation trainings as an example of enjoyable/engaging when we are talking about techniques. I play the video and then ask the group if they liked it, and why or why not. Everyone loves this one because of Kelly's passion and storytelling. It is quite impactful.

We were there last week and the new moon sky was unbelievable - so many stars to see in every direction.

I was in Arizona for 3 days as of yesterday, it was cloudy and there was thunderstorms :( on my last night I went near Sedona with my gf and waited for the sunset in the car, the clouds were starting to get clearer, I thought this may be it but I realised the moon was at half cast and too bright for me to see the Milky Way 😭😭

What are the chances to see a starry sky like this when visiting Bryce? Do you have to be lucky like seeing the Northern lights? Or good chances to see this? We’re gonna be there end of April 23. Can’t wait!
