Chester may be gone, but he left behind something timeless. Music. The music many of us grew up listening to and sympathizing with. He left us with something so beautiful. Music that may bring fresh tears to our cloudy eyes, but they still strum our heartstrings. Nothing can change that.

I did not want to go to school any more and I was so tired of the bull shit. NUMB was my life I just shut down. I was to the point were I did not want to be here any more. There is a beautiful, sweet, and artistic nature to the sadness through which the notes topple on top one another - strings seem to do this in my ear. I think it maintains that artistic integrity while respectfully and beautifully acknowledging the pain and loss and life an continuity that are all realities, it seems, best expressed through a music - and a skilled professional, at that. I did not want to go to school any more and I was so tired of the bull shit. NUMB was my life I just shut down. I was to the point were I did not want to be here any more. Then Breaking the habit came out I was like OMG some one heard my thoughts, this freaked me out a bit. It was like GOD stepped in and took my hand and knew what I was going through. There is a beautiful, sweet, and artistic nature to the sadness through which the notes topple on top one another - strings seem to do this in my ear. I think it maintains that artistic integrity while respectfully and beautifully acknowledging the pain and loss and life an continuity that are all realities, it seems, best expressed through a music - and a skilled professional, at that.
