Did you hear him talking about Google, etc., when he was so sure of himself & his knowledge when he said we can ask google! Over 40 years ago.
I personally think he was a lonely man by not saying loud what he was thinking. He never tried his best.
Shah had started planning how he could reach his goal faster than his health started showing deterioration.
او وطنپرست و مردم دوست بود.

I agree with what you are saying about Shah being so intelligent. In one of his other interviews (over 45 years ago), someone asked him a question. He answered it correctly. The other guy looked at him in disbelief but did not have the courage to say it.
Shah noticed it & said : IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE IT, GOOGLE IT!
He was the greatest & we should be proud of him.
      والسلام!!

You all can even look at all the old world maps drawn in the past 2000yrs and you'd see the Persian Gulf has always been Persian Gulf.
Then the British STEAL the southern shores of the Persian Gulf about 200yrs ago & create Fake-countries (so called "Arab countries") and the British push their Arab slaves to ask for the change of the Persian Gulf's name. The British are the problem. The British are still cause of all problems in the region. It was the British who created Israel & Wahhabi terrorists cult (ISIS AlQaeda type of terrorists). And the British are still supporting the MKO terrorists against Iran.
Iranians believe any problem in the world you can be sure the Devil British hands are in there & have something or a lot to do with all the problems in the world.
There has never been a "British empire" (it's a MYTH), but for sure the British global terrorism is the TRUTH.

Salaam, we did not lose him the foreign colonial governments support both the government that they install in Iran, as well as the opposition to that same government that they install. So, they control both sides of the political coin. Iranians need to learn how to stick together and think nationalism instead of worshipping forigners, also known as qarbzaadeh-gi which operates similarly to brain cancer in the head. The Ayatollahs today are doing just as fine with the most number of top-level universities found anywhere in the world. They have turned Iran into a modern developing nation with more women holding government and academic positions throughout the country than most nations. The Iranian economy sucks and that's due to embargos by foreigners on ALL Iranians throughout the world.

And we still use the "hunt against corruption and threats" as a suitable distraction to keep average people calm while the "hidden elites" enrich themselves like freeloaders in big scale from the hard working citizens.
Apparently, because the Shah believed since he was a small child the "writings on the wall" like dreams, apparitions and feelings and especially his "translators" of those events, he "survived".

1 Samuel 3 : 1 Meanwhile the boy Samuel was serving the LORD before Eli. A word from the LORD was rare in those days, and visions were infrequent. 3 The lamp of God had not yet been extinguished, and Samuel was lying down in the tent of the LORD where the Ark of God was. 4 The LORD called out to Samuel, who answered, "Here I am." 5 He ran to Eli and said, "Here I am! You called me." "I didn't call you," Eli said. "Go back and lie down." So he went and lay down. 9 Then Eli understood that the LORD was calling the boy, so Eli told Samuel, "Go lie down, and then if he calls you, answer, "Speak, LORD, because your servant is listening.'" I saw only two men, two heads of state who not only never feared the corrupt media empire, but tried to show their true nature.
The first one was the Iranian King of Kings, Shahanshah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi
The one who questioned the world's most famous journalists in front of the camera, in front of the eyes of millions of viewers.
Shah reprimanded and reprimanded those who even presidents like Nixon and later Reagan did not have the courage to engage with them.
The second person was President Donald Trump.
      With one big difference
The Shah behaved exactly like a king, acted like a king, spoke like an emperor, and was very intelligent and self-possessed , but Donald Trump is acting like a bully.
The Shah of Iran and Donald Trump became victims of defending the interests of their country's people.
The fake media empire, in revenge, tried to portray both of them as representatives of all evil.
This is the fate of two heads of state who were not intimidated and surrendered to the empire of lies and fakes.

Far, far ahead of his time.
In no way, shape or form was he flawless but 1 of him, in my opinion, is worth more than ALL of the filthy, disgusting mullahs who've kept Iran hostage since they exiled him.
Under his reign you were free to practice any religion you wanted, or no religion if that was more your cup of tea. You could cover yourself head to toe or wear a bikini, it was your choice and yours alone.
You didn't see starving children rummaging through garbage at every corner and most importantly; innocent children weren't gunned down for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

We Iranians became more knowledgeable and educated, thus the sun is coming out of the clouds, and we are seeing the true image of this cool man.
