changing vocations in this game is really IMPORTANT. If you don't switch jobs your people will be doomed with no skills. go ahead and keep switching vocations. earn vocational/weapon skills as much as possible. All Vocation specific skills carry over between vocations.
Hello I have a question. I have recently gotten into dq9 again, and well.. Post game I feel like changing my team. I have an armamentalist, martial artist, sage and a priest. Im going to change my armamentalist and martial artist into gladiators. And change my sage or priest into something else. Should I change my sage or my priest? And what should I change it into?

I would recommend, for this challenge, using 'gritty ditty' twice, getting 'fire fourced' and using falcon slash WITH an úber falcon blade. It has worked with every boss I've killed since I got the úber falcon blade.

1) this boss honestly didn't look to hard, considerin u had 2 people poorly equiped by the request. And hardly any good healing. 2) how do u get the sage class and what makes it good from the other magic classes?
1) It's not very hard if you've maxed out other vocation trees and at lvl 99. But otherwise, this guy is called one of the hardest grotto bosses for a reason. 2) The sage class is a combo of mage and priest. I know priests can cast things like fullheal but I find sages better, in my opinion. Not to mention, they have magic burst. Just search up sage vs priest/mage or something and you'll find your answer somewhere.
I have a question: how do you get 999 hp? I'm trying to beat Dhoulmagus lvl 99 but he always kills my party. If I had 999 hp I'm sure I could beat him. Btw, great vid. PD: Sorry for my bad English I'm spanish :P

sorry to be replying late. i was just busyyyyyy~. now where r we? how to get high HP? if you are planning on building your character up to the highest HP/999, do the seed of life farming. just google it, you will see.

Jack Hallsworth 1. change vocation so u can use shields 2. upgrade shield skill or whatever u call it to 100 now you can use a shield as a gladiator
