I have a question i am preparing for my us CMA right now , i don't want to create balance sheets i'd like auditing much more than accounting so i was wondering if i should go for Us cpa or CIA for auditing skills?

You can do it on the IIA website. I’m not sure how it’ll work in India because VG institute is their only learning partner. Send them an email maybe?

How is CIA different from ISO auditor?
Can CIA certificate help is IT industry?
Suppose there is a production department in a manufacturing company. The production department has to work as per the SOP defined by the senior management. Internal Audit helps to keep the moral check on the employees and also to identify the deficiencies that are found while implementing the SOP and accordingly report to the management to reduce the deficiencies. This is all about the Internal Audit. The scope of the internal audit is prescribed by the senior management and it depends upon the size of the organization and also the requirements of the senior management as a part of corporate governance and also as a part of statutory requirements. A India is an emerging economy,therefore you can expect a lot of businesses mushrooming and scaling very fast, therefore the scope for Internal Audit is immense.
ISO is all about the setting the best standards as per the checklist provided by them. It is not mandatory for an organization to opt for International Standards specified by ISO. Following ISO standards in any process in an organisation makes the organization credible in the market. ISO audit scope is only with respect to checking whether the organization is maintaining the standard as prescribed by the ISO.
ISO developed many standards in different areas, some are related to quality,information systems security etc.
ISO audit depends upon the industry in which you are going to work. As you know each industry has different requirements, some industries work on the products while some work on the services. As india is an emerging economy,with the scaling of many businesses you can expect that the companies may go for following the International Standards to survive in the cut-throat competition. So,scope for ISO Auditing is good as well.
In IT Industry especially in India, ISO 27001 is given more emphasis because India is outsourcing based IT Industry therefore keeping clients data confidential is given utmost importance. For doing this, IT security should be in top level, generally those organizations which follows ISO 27001 are considered the reliable ones in the eyes of the foreign clients and trust them to delegate their work.
Finally speaking, Internal Audit and ISO audit both are good in their respective fields. Decide whichever the ones you want to pursue.
