Size? and New Balance released an exclusive colourway of the 990 V3, just as the silhouette has been slowing down. This "Orange / Cream" colourway features beautiful, buttery suede, slick mesh, and reflective detailing throughout in a fall ready colour palette. The presence of orange makes the connection to the store`s logo. I took it as a collaborative touch instead of a random exclusive color, although the lack of an explicit Size? branding

You often make a distinction between a true collaboration and an exclusive colorway. Is the main difference that a true collaboration must always have the collaborator's branding on it?

Yeah or otherwise some other indication that it’s not just an “exclusive” colour, like a special box or whatever.
