- This was Audrey's first appearance on film! Dutch in Seven Lessons (Nederlands in zeven lessen) is a film produced in the Netherlands in 1948. The film is notable because it was the first film in which Audrey Hepburn appeared; she has a small role as a stewardess. Although sometimes listed in Hepburn filmographies as a short film, in fact the Internet Movie Database lists its running time as 79 minutes. The movie was cut to 39 minutes for English release.
As a Dutchman, I am amazed, and strangely proud, that one of the greatest icons in the history of film, lived in my country, spoke my language, and on top of that, debuted in a Dutch film!
@Stepwood Mashups Dit soort hatelijke leugens over goede mensen, is typerend voor de tijd waarin we leven, helaas.
For years I thought she was a Dutch actress.
As well you should. Her poise, bearing, continental accent, adult view of the world and commitment to benevolence are unique in the industry.
@@davidpolando5595 The only thing that I don't like about her is that he had to many lovers (seems like 10), and one of them was married.
What? what business is it of yours to judge the highly personal intimate lives of others?

Her genuine beautiful smile made her Audrey Hepburn the star.
Even at 18, she was lovely.
Even at 18? Women's prime is between 18 and 23.
Oh my look at her. Bro i really wish i was born in the old days
All we get today is lizzo... a 300 pound water balloon prancing around in a thong and lecturing us on racial morality when she herself is devoid of it. But it's crammed down our throats. That's today.
In the days when bro was not a way to address people.
She's so pretty
Really wish I spoke dutch

Highly recommended!
That Beautiful Smile...Those Hypnotic Eyes...and That Cute Nose, that she didn't like...yup, I could've spotted Audrey Hepburn a mile away.
She was beautiful even before becoming a star
This must be what English sounds like to non-English speakers.
Audrey so cute!
本当に可愛らしい。
wat mooi 😍
Full movie please
Audrey Hepburn was a British citizen.
Born in Belgium, parents Dutch and British. She grew up in Belgium and Netherlands.
Anyone can translate?
The whole thing is boring as fuck but the conversation between Audrey and the voice over is basically this:
VOICE OVER: Stop! Look out, watch out, child! Yes you! *whistles* Yes you! Who are you actually?
AUDREY: I'm a flight attendant at the KLM (Royal Dutch airlines).
VOICE OVER: You don't look it.
AUDREY: *nods suggestively* Well, you should see me in my uniform!
VOICE OVER: *makes noises* man, man, man.. that's something
and then he goes on about everything Audrey has taught him about flying.
@@Justjacq13 hahaahahahhaah also thank you
Her voice souns so differeng here. Was she dubbed?
No.
But she was dubbed, wasn't she?
No Chris, she wasn't. People can do internet searches nowadays and find these things out.
@@baronmeduse That is not her voice. She is no Soprano..
@@chrischris4028 She's not singing in the video. Are you sure you're on the right video?
danish air
Can't understand a bloody word
It’s Dutch
@@jake4725 Ja hoor.
Believe it or not, English isn’t the only language in the world. 23.3 million people speak Dutch.
@@Bandomeme I was joking....2 years ago!
@@kateleahmarie they must be having problems getting fresh material for RUclips. I’ve just noticed some of the stuff suggested now is EIGHT years old! Though it’s getting increasingly difficult to sort the satire from the stupid.
