MY NEW POSTING DAY FOR BOTH CHANNELS (this one and A SMALL WARDROBE) IS WEDNESDAY! I cannot tell you what a difference this small change has made already! Yes, there were some withdrawals last weekend, but this week I'm already in the flow of the new schedule. It's already feeling so much better because in the past I would work so hard all week, and then have to until the weekend for the results of that work. Now I actually get to see the results of my work while I'm in work mode! ♥
I’m experiencing similar with the switch from corporate office life to completely remote / work from home. It’s been hard!
I'm old. I'm retired. It took awhile for me to stop buying clothes for a life I no longer had. At this point I want mostly comfort, casual and active. I've managed to have all that in my closet while have "a small wardrobe". Thanks for all your hard work. Love both channels.
I am in the same boat. I have to consciously not put dresses, suits, dressy shirts (any shirts except flannel), heeled shoes, leather bags, makeup in my liked items when I shop on line. There’s really nothing I need because I have every comfortable or active clothing and shoes for every weather and sports in my closet :)
I am not even old and I think the same.
i too am in the retired boat. i'm wearing casual, active comfortable clothes, but tbh, i miss my edgy black-combat boot style. it doesn't fit my current climate (i moved from chicago to coastal carolina) and that former style doesn't make sense here. but i feel frumpy.
any helpful tips?

Old? Old to me is 70 ish and above haha and i would not call it old -more like wise. ❤
I'm in my seventies and I've found that as each new decade starts I become dissatisfied with my style and make changes either to my hair, my colours or my overall mood. This keeps me currant and still very interested in fashion. Love your new look!

Yesterday I purchased 2 spring tops, 1 navy blue, 1 midrange green. I am confident these tops will be versatile, comfortable and complementary to my shape. I returned a purple cashmere sweater when I realized the color was really jarring.

It took me so long and way too much purchasing & purging (ack) but I am very content with my style after 5+ decades (whew). For me, it means having 2 closets - one with day-to-day wear (simple but edgy/punk-ish, and practical/comfortable - "Can I climb a tree in it?") (It doesn't matter that I don't do that regularly, I need to feel that I am ABLE to lol) and one with occasion wear (Indian clothes for family gatherings w/my inlaws, vintage 60s pieces, & some scifi convention outfits 😄#dontjudge). LOVE your style, and as always, your thoughtful analysis which has helped me stop the buy/purge cycle. You love FAB and more importantly seem to be happy and thriving!! :) :) :)

It's so hard for me as my life is two extremes... I'm a massage therapist, so literally my uniform is yoga pants, slippers and an ugly work shirt. Then, when I go on vacation I over dress because I never get to dress in my day to day life.

Nobody asked for a grammar lesson. But as you are obviously invested in this matter, you might like to do some research... and you will find that 'gift' has been used as a verb for around 400 years. That will teach you.

I think you look so much better in light hair! The dark although it may be natural didn’t match your completion. I’m seeing a lot of comments on here about it looking dry (it’s the ash tone) you should put some sandy blonde in it. ❤
I don't think it's the tone. She needs to condition because it's frizzy and dull, not smooth and shiny. She probably needs to clarify, as well, because hard water makes your hair look like that. I have to clarify at least every third time that I shampoo.
