I have wanted to write this comment for six months, but I have worried that the sentiment would come across as overblown. Something about tonight is different, and it just feels like the moment to do it. Perhaps it's hearing you may be going on a hiatus. Maybe it's making it through an hour of contemplating the universe with you. But... Finding your channel has been sanity-saving. You have affected my stress levels in a way many other methods have been unable to. The effect goes beyond mere ASMR tingles. I feel a sense of calm when there's a new video to fall asleep to. There is a feeling that you're here with us when listening to your work, a sense of companionship that helps when it's the early hours of the morning and you can't sleep. It's an odd feeling to have (knowing someone without knowing them, having them in your ear and mind as you fall asleep) but a welcome one. Your intellect plays a large part in it for me, I think. This channel goes beyond others because it is more like having a conversation with someone - the type of conversations you have with friends outside on the deck at three am, with a drink in your hand and a blanket keeping you warm and you're getting to know people you already feel like you know so well... I'm excited for you that you'll be having a new adventure laid out before you in the coming weeks. A hiatus is unfortunate, but your loyal subscribers should understand and support given how much help you've provided us over the years. Thank you, truly, for what you do. It makes a major impact in my life, and countless others. I know I'm not the only one grateful at this level.

Black holes have always been my favorite area of theoretical physics and astrophysics. Glad I found this video. Always fascinating to think about how there are literal tears in the curtain of spacetime.
You are the only current ASMR channel where I watch/listen to pretty much every video. I don't get tingles & such. Never have. I just find it very relaxing/de-stressing to listen to soft spoken speaking about interesting things such as Astronomy, science in general, ancient history, and more. It especially helps with my insomnia. You are the only one doing that right now. You keep things interesting, and I thank you for that. I also thank you for recommending David Butler. So eventually everything will be sucked into black holes right. Then all the black holes will start getting sucked into each other. So that means that the universe is one big battle royal and the last black hole wins
In the local region I think thats correct but for the whole universe I don't know, the expansion of the universe is accelerating and evertually everything far away enough will be long gone, I think it's called heat death. But I'm no astronomer, could have misunderstood smething

Well I love the Universe Sandbox so it is an instant winner for me. Definitely had the heat going as the southern hemisphere is heading into winter and it's a cool 4 degrees Celsius here on Tamborine Mountain. The ambient music of the sandbox is beautiful....very relaxing. I agree with SquareOne 4242's comment, I gave him a thumbs up for that. As always I appreciate the work you put into your channel and will miss the regular uploads during the hiatus.....but it will be an opportunity to listen to some of your older material......as I listen to your ASMR almost daily.
