I just did a clean up on my Pokemons and dumped a total of 600+ Legendaries, I've been slowly trading them between my two accounts but they just gather more often, only kept hundos, 1500cp's and of course shinies, I have more space than ever for fest

Me personally I’m glad the eggs are featured. 2km eggs mean easy to hatch half hatch distance means I can get all my 10kms out and replace them with 2km eggs that can be quickly hatched during the tour and then puckup the eggs featuring mime jr, carnivine and pachirisu since I need them
Here’s a tip for cresselia: catch the research one during raid hour. It might have grass knot. It’s worth trying Edit: do it with all of the legendary pokemon that will be in the timed research.
Good that we got 1/2 incubator distance, cause that will help me cew down on the 10 and 12 km eggs and then just hatch some 2 km and hope it's a hundo Riolu (but probably won't happen due to my dumb luck) for the mega when it comes around. Also it's good cause I need to clear my egg storage for Sinnoh Tour, since the 10k then have the regionals.
Is it possible to save your research encounters for each legendary for their respective Raid Hours? Was planning to save each of them so I can get their Legacy Moves as well but not sure how that fully works.

This is the biggest and most insane money grab from niantic ever. Even as a city player I’m pissed they’re just throwing all the legendaries up for like 2-3 days at a time so free to play players only get a few free encounters before they’re rotated out
Yep that’s right and the wild spawns are trash as well. Why are we not getting all the wild spawns they had in LA? Why are we just getting the turtwig, ect? All this is about is raiding. I always hear you say that mega evolving is worth it during these events, But i don't do raids a lot unless it's during events and even then it's mainly remote raids because i don't have a group of people i can go out with and do events with, Plus i'm really low on mega energy for the small amount of Pokémon i'm actually able to mega evolve. So i just never get the chance because it don't feel like its worth it to get 1 extra candy from the base level and then not be able to use it again cuz i don't have the energy..
The mega pokemon lasts for 8 hours and boosts candy gains from every pokemon you catch that shares a type with it. In addition, you can gain more mega energy for that mega pokemon if you walk it as your buddy. Though I don't know why you need very much mega energy as once you mega evolve them the first time, that pokemon can then mega evolve again for free once it's cooldown timer counts down. It can also gain a point of progress towards a higher mega level once a day when it mega evolves. At level one, its cooldown takes a week, but at level 2 it has a 5 day cooldown. Then at max mega level 3, it only takes 3 days before you can mega evolve it again for free. So it's possible to have a roster of pokemon that provides a relevant mega form and costs you no mega energy.

So their idea of free research is use 8 passes in 5 days, when you can only (at most) get 6 passes in 5 days (not to mention that you would like to save the last extra pass for the Global Event!). Yes. If Niantic had given this any thought they could incentivize more players to buy these tickets by giving a small discount if you buy both, and this isn't some radical new idea lol. I think they would have made substantially more money than what the 'cost' of the discount is to them. But imo it's pretty shamelessly greedy to even have two separate tickets in the first place when all of those bonuses could be included on one ticket.

I'm gonna say definitely maybe. The wild lake trio in LA were acting like the lati twins from the hoenn tour. very difficult to catch from the wild and prone to running unless it's a shiny one. If they're anything like this during the world tour coming up, maybe worth raiding and catching at least once.
I would like to ask an important question about PvP in Pokémon GO. Are IVs important? That is, if a Pokémon has 0 or 31 attack? Because sometimes it's very difficult to have a Pokémon with perfect IVs... I think it's more important to have the right Pokémon and moveset than the IVs. What do you think? The sinnoh tour is not even gonna be a real tour event since manaphy phione and arceus r not in the game let alone their shinys which a tour is supposed to only happen if every pokemon is in the game in that region and shiny and as it seems those 3 r not gonna be in it

Good idea, will do that. Do note, you can go ahead and claim the Giratina and Darkrai ahead of time since you dont really want their legacy moves.

I believe Origin is just better due to access to Roar of Time, but that hundo is still a great catch.

A couple years ago I caught a hundo turtwig and accidentally transferred it same day. The very next day I caught 2 more hundo turtwigs.
