Use filtered water for calathea. Bright light with no direct light would do just fine. Fertize once a month with seaweed. Water once a week. This works fine for me.
Aww you have 70 plants inside the house!!!!!!!!! Just amazing. I just starterd to bring plants indoors. I only have 9 for now indoors. Will increase as soon as possible. 💚💚🌱🌿☘️🌲🍀🌳🌴🍃🌵
i dont know how to explain my feelings for plants but after u show your shades i got to know that i m not mad when i bear hot sun rays during summer and chilled air during cold winter by not using curtain 😂❤❤
Plants make us more energetic ,it give fresh oxygen to us , seeing your videos of indoor plant make me motivation to grow and care the various genera of plants. Keep it up 😜🙂👍👍👍👍
Your love for plants shows in ur voice ! Keep up the good work! The inspection after waking up in the morning is so relatable...I go to my balcony garden first in the morning and observe my plants closely. It gives me lot of calm. And I also get to see the buds and blooms first ...my daughter would be like...mumma this flower has come today..and when I say..I know..or I saw...she would be like..what mumma..how do u always know.😋 This is how I know :)
I am 11 year old i have started growing plants and vegetables i have 15 plants till now and 2 potato pots 1 spinach pot 2 coriander and i also tryed composting but it doesn't worked please give me a heart 💓💓💓

70 plants INSIDE the house! Wow! Thoroughly enjoyed the video. I needed some ideas on indoor plants as I just can’t seem to think beyond Philodendrons and Syngoniums. Thank you! ❤️
You are the most luckiest person i have ever seen , because you are live your passion.not all have that choice in live.I love plants as you do ,but only difference is i am not a lucky person like u.
One of the most soothing channels and such beautifully curated content. Love the way you describe each plant and provide so many insights on growing plants. Thanks to your channel, I am a new plant parent now figuring out each plant's health and condition.
i am 15 and started gardening last year, just cz of your videos.. .I have killed 2(the bergendi one had yellow spots on its leaves) of the 3 rubberplants I had.. and the last one is not growing.. it is kept in bright lighted area but with no filtered sunlight. I live in a dry city at the south of Punjab{Pakistan}
I strongly feel that we also need to plant our local plants . These days everyone is having decorative plants. I know this looks good but the local varieties are hard to find.
So funny I just watched your home tour from 2 years ago thinking how small and modest your plant collection was. Now you have such large plants and huge collection. They're very happy
Hi! So far I've just been bringing in plants into my home because I love them so much but I've been quite clueless about how to manage it but your video has inspired me to take care of them more enthusiastically. Today being Sunday I pruned an over grown money plant and used cuttings to put in glass bottles in 4 rooms in my house as well as put khaad in all my pots. The love and affection that you have for your plants just brightened my day! Thank you and wishing all your ICU plants a quick recovery :)
Ekta,I was a big fan of plants in childh, spent all.my pocket money on plants..sailing through tough life sa ,I hv almost forgotten my passion, until I bumbed into yr channel.thanks a bundle that now I'm happy with my plants Though working away from home, every weekend I run back to my plants .. ❤️
These plants are so gorgeous! 😍 A few days back I got a flower for the first time on my aparajita plant and the whole day i was so happy! Gardening is so so thereupatic! ❤
Hi Ekta. I used to watch your videos during the covid time but then after that somehow missed them. As you said whenever I visit the nursery I am attracted to the succulents. I buy 1 or 2 of them , kill them and then decide not to venture into succulents again. Recently, again I bought 2 succulents and I remembered you and got back to your channel and transplanted the succulents with the help of your videos. Hopefully, they will do good this time. And from then I have been binge watching your videos and am now very interested with indoor plants. But as our house is in the ground floor and don't get direct or indirect sunlight , I am wary of bringing plants inside the house . I have only money plant cuttings in water one in each room and one zz plant in water. Can you pls guide how to grow them well and how often to change the water. Many congrats on your motherhood and wish you and your son well
I have also started with so many plants now I have around 40 plants and The first thing I do after waking up is to check the plants.... And most of them I have done from taking cuttings from my neighbourhood.... 😛😛 But I want to add many more.... I will do so in few months
hii dear ekta di litrally u are so humble your voice is so polite the benifits whati am takingfrom u،، it help me 100 % a very big thankyou and u don'tmatterwhat people are saying u justkeep this think keepdoing
Love and respect for the gentle and clear presentation.Being a teacher I like the way you transact .Eventhough I am not a genuine plant lover ,I used to watch all most all your videos and now started loving indoor plants. I am from kerala and it is too humid here.Thank you for your information regarding humidity loving plants
Your voice is so sweet and the way you talk is also soothing. Nice stories for each plant you have. I have been inspired from you and I have plenty indoor plants now. I don't have any stories, they all are doing well and no plant has either dried or yellowed leaves. All are so fresh and growing good day by day, I feel it's so easy to maintain healthy plants ofcourse after following all your tips. 🤗i mean is the video scripted😜😜
I have been trying to remember the name of a book i read many years back. Ive been struggling to remember past two months and suddenly i see it in ur shelve...😄😄😄i am sooo happy... Thank u..freakonomics..
Dil khush ho jata hai aapko or aapke plants ko dekh kar ❤️ that's y, you inspire me a lot to make myself a better plant parent. Thanx for showing your indoor plants they are as beautiful as you are 🌿🌿
You just Light up talking about plants 👍👍 6:30 I have ant problems they crawl all around the soil and leaves and also bring bugs leaving them on the leaves and infecting them, I'm unable to get ride of both and need a solution (the one suggested in this video doesn't help). 6:30 I see that your rubber plant stem is twisted I manage to keep it straight by attaching a pole and tie the stem to the pole at some distance this way the stem is straight and tall. I started keeping indoor plants after watching your videos and have quite a lot of them but difficult to manage due to bugs and ants crawling around and trying to keep them away.
Your videos are something to look forward daily. Being a doctor and plant lover in mumbai I could also manage around 60 indoor plants including cuttings. Bad yes I also have multiple failed attempts especially with Erica palms and fig. Hopefully in future
Your collection of plants are amazing. You love them so much that's why they look fresh and are doing so well. Loved the way you have decorated your home with lush greenery. 😍
Thanks for sharing those amazing videos u know you talk a lot about science which increase our knowledge and when teacher ask some related questions so we know the answer..... I love gardening a lot I just saw your video and try to use jugadh ideas like u😊. ..... Most satisfying... Learn new thinks.... Because of you only I like gardening... . When I saw your videos I had an interest in gardening.... I think if you be my sister I am a girl my name is lakshyata...
You got birds of paradise. Guts 🙄 I am always scared carrying these. Rubber plant is tough though. Others requires petting. Pothos, Song of India does well too. Spray your blue IFFCO granules on these indoor plants. Those granules dissolve slowly so it can run for months. My spider, Pothos and rubber is loving it till date. Looking up neighbors for Aglo and monstera. But distributed generously after monsoon to my near ones like crepe jasmine, vinca rosea, spider, Pentas, marigold, jade. Literally ur videos helped us a lot. Happy gardening and thank a ton for your inspirational videos.
