    Today’s video we started embroidering rose petals, we use the random stitch in crewel embroidery,I hope you will like it.
    整個花瓣配了9種顏色,從淺到深為1-9色。
    第一個花瓣用色為2-7色,第二個花瓣用色為3-8種顏色。
    The entire petal comes with 9 colors, from light to dark are 1st-9th colors. The first petal uses second to seventh color, and the second petal uses third to eighth color.

    I don't do embroidery, and know nothing about it. But youtube recommend your video and it helped me a lot when I have trouble with sleeping. Thank you.

      IKR?!? It's very soothing to watch. Hearing the punch of the needle through the fabric and then the thread sliding after it is better than pharmaceuticals or alcoholic beverages. It's hypnotic. It's also inspired me to start learning how to embroider.

      I think it works out when you consider how small size of thread they are using. This is Chinese embroidery; they use different techniques

      It appears to me to be “random stitch” (from Margaret Lee’s book, The Art of Chinese Embroidery 2) which is an advanced technique that allows for even more subtle blending than long and short stitch. I could often follow (especially in the first row) the pairs of crossed stitches that are a feature of random stitch.
