She had to have known, if he had been found guilty. She has made a fool out of herself by crying and singing his praises. She should have had enough good sense to just lay low and live her life without running the chance of this being all over the news. Why would she think this kind of thing would get past her. How sad for her children to get to relive all this twice. What about Chock’s reputation and his family I am sure are upset also. Bachelor Nation should speak out this will not go away.
But it makes us question her true intent. She did end up with 4 of the most successful bachelor's. These men, for the most part, have proven to be pretty sincere. I wondered why when it came out that 2 of the men had been served with restraining orders. Gil and Guy, and they kept them on the show. If I had been the bachelorette, that would have been a big red flag and I would have had the producers immediately send them home. Maybe that's why Joan came out and defended Guy because she's dealt with criminal activity before. And he does have lots of money. If I were Chock, who is also a very successful businessman, I would have lots of questions. After all, he has kids who would potentially inherit his money and business. After teading his bio, he seems to br a very honest and sincere guy. When he eent through his divorce with his first wife and mother of his kids, it seemed as though they were very amicable and divided everything fairly. And co-parent fairly and are on friendly terms. Looks like a pre-nup is in order!

I really don’t care about that. Everyone has skeletons in their closet. He’s gone, let him be. I don’t like that she has consistently mentioned him, his death, how much she loved and misses him etc…. Doesn’t seem she was ready. There would be nothing wrong with her mentioning him 1-2 times but the men don’t need to hear this when she is to be on the show to date and meet her potential partner.

I cannot help but wonder. Joan says when her husband died she was in another room. He had cancer and obviously hospice became a part of his care plan. So what was she doing in another room when near death has rapid breating certain sounds like the death raddle from the lungs . I just cannot wrap my head around how someone so in live with a husband can bounce back so fast ?

He had been having labored breathing all day prior to passing . I was with my father when he died of cancer . People were coming and going the pastor, family members I could have easily, “ not been by his side when he took his last breath”. Don’t throw stones when u know NOTHING about a situation.
I disagree with you she went on the show to find a way to move her life forward, and whatever she encountered in grief for otherwise while she’s going through the process is her journey it doesn’t belong to anybody else allow her the gift of reclaiming her life and any form that she can! Wow! I am surprised. I haven't been watching the series for that many years, so I don't know what went on in the past. Hannah Brown was the first one I watched. I still follow her. I do have a different opinion about Joan which is not favorable after watching this. Yes it is awful when a loved one dies of pancreatic cancer. My mother died from pancreatic cancer three months after being diagnosed. I was in shock, and took me years to accept her death, but with Joan she knew he was going to jail, and then I guess she found out he had cancer. Either way she wouldn't had him around her all the time. It could be everything tied together is the reason why she cries a lot. We don't know their private life or if she knew anything before he got caught. I am just saying they need to do more vetting into their past before approving them. If that would have been done she may not have been cast in Golden Bachelorette. But then again Gerry the Golden Bachelor said he didn't date anyone after his wife had passed away which was a lie.
