Did you know Dianne Doan from Descendants got to be in the seventh and final season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Dianne loved watching Mulan as a kid, and she really enjoyed working with the woman who played her movie mom. I thought it was a neat treat for fans of Mulan and Descendants, because unlike Dove Cameron, Dianne Doan is one of the Descendants actors based in Vancouver, and she probably traveled to Los Angeles just for Ming-Na Wen in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. - if that show's casting director also wanted them to meet like I did. Fun Fact: The same voice actress who did Mulan's Grandma, June Foray also did the cat noises for Lucifer in Cinderella in 1950, she's still alive and about to turn 100 next year!

I believe as 2 different characters, one of them with the arm crutches....She also played in Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within as Dr. Aki Ross....Frank Welker is a longstanding counterpart to Peter Cullen for transformers movies, doing the voices of Megatron, Eddie Murphy no need to point him out....George Takei was Hikaru Sulu throughout the Star Trek TOS playthroughs and films....Miguel Ferrer was Assistant Director Owen Granger on NCIS:LA

I love how Fa Mulan is just a cartoon version of Ming-Na Wen and Li Shang is just a cartoon version of BD Wong. No, really. I think it is funny that Mulan just animated Ming-Na Wen and BD Wong as they looked back in 1997 and gave them a slightly different hairdo. The reason I looked this deeply into that is because I saw a clip of Dianne Doan, the actress who played Lonnie in Descendants, in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. with Ming-Na Wen. Descendants is a live-action film based on about a dozen animated Disney movies, which got me thinking about actors who looked like real versions of their animated characters. June 16, 2021, 7:39pm

Mimi Chan's martial arts skill is second to none that's why Disney hand picked Mimi to be the original model and martial arts reference for Disney's Mulan.
