    2:05:58 Sir, for small values of x, sin(x) is approximately equal to tan(x) and vise versa. But they both are not approximatly or even close to cos(x) for same small values of x. The proof comes with maclaurin series, or you can even use calculator for that matter.
    sin = x - x^3/3! + x^5/5! + .....
    For small values of x, the terms get so small as they are getting raised to the power and then getting divided by factorial, that we can neglect them.
    Therefore, sin ≈ x
    Same with tanx
    tanx = x + x^3/3 + 2x^5/15 + ......
    For small values of x,
    tanx ≈ x
    Now, cosx = 1 - x^2/2! + x^4/4! + ......
    For small values of x, the other terms get small but because there is 1 at the beginning, it gets approximately equal to 1.
    Therefore, sin(x) ≈ tan(x) ≉ cos(x)
    Hence proved.

    Thankyou so much sir.
    Though I had completed theory Part of this chapter, I was waiting for the lecture because never in last 5 months did I understand the topic of magnet vibrating in uniform magnetic field and the same question came in my preboard for 3 marks and I wasn't able to solve it. Watched many other videos regarding the same topic but nothing went inside my brain. After watching your lecture, the topic is crystal clear now along with all other topics. You really make Physics understandable.

    Sir, please could you share the link of why k/m = omega square?

    • @shahnazwm
      @shahnazwm 5 месяцев назад +1

      omega square is nothing but angular frequency aur it is inversely proportional to mass ( mass badhega toh frequency ghategi ) and directly proportional to spring constant ( spring constant badhega toh frequency ghategi ) isliye they are arranged that way k/m ( inverse wala part neeche hai aur direct wala upar ) aur rahi baat square ki toh woh isliye aaya kyunki jo formula se yeh derive hua woh tha T = 2π √m/k ( iss formula ka matlab omega wale se completely opposite hai T is directly proportional to mass and inversely proportional to spring constant ) toh yahan dono side square karne se jo result mila woh omega square bana aur √m/k ban gaya k/m isliye omega square = k/m OR omega = √m/k
