I’m just being scientific for the purpose of being annoying… (but yeah I totally agree with you) Vampire bats are not vicious or anything, they make tiny wounds with their frontal teeth, and then they lick the blood. Their tongues work kind like straws, so it’s a mixture of licking and slurping. They also tend to share blood meals with the ones at the colonies (like mothers tending pups). So imagine Knuckles asking Rouge to bring him a lunch while guarding the Master Emerald, the fun interaction that would be 🙃
