    1) Jackson led a militia into Spanish Florida and most historians say that this is what made Spain cede Florida to the US for FREE.
    2) General Jackson was victorious at the Battle of Horseshoe Bend giving the US Alabama.
    3) General Jackson was victorious at the Battle of New Orleans protecting the Louisiana Purchase (which the British would probably not have recognized had the US lost that battle).
4 When he was a minor in the American Revolution he refused to clean a British officer’s muddy boots and was struck by a sword and put into a prisoner of war camp.
The man has arguably won/protected more land to/for the American people than any other President except Polk.

Leave Andrew on the 20 dollar bill! If you put Harriet Tubman on the 20, then you will have madness in the treasury dept, and everyone’s going to push to get their idol on another bill. I think Oprah Winfrey was suggested to be on one of the bill. Geez!

Harriet Tubman doesn't deserve to be on the 20$ bill cause she wasn't a president or founding father i think we should pur Theodore Roosevelt on the 20$ bill

Jackson was on the $10 bill issued by the Federal Reserve in 1914 and 1918. He was also on various other bills issued by the government such as the Woodchopper $5 United States Note.

they don't put good people on currency. you haven't noticed. Andrew Jackson murdered more people than Ukraine and Afghanistan wars. then became president and declared the killing of "all natives from coast to coast. if any were left , he would pay $5. per head brought back and turned in. woman children, elders and anyone that stood against this genocide. that's the type of people they put on currency. do your homework you'll find out all currency is like that

Considering Jackson is most well known for his vicious act of white supremacy known as the Trail of Tears, yeah I'd say it's very fitting to replace him on the $20 with Harriet Tubman-a person famous for her fight against white supremacy and leading us one step closer to the American ideals we claim to strive for.
Also it's pretty ridiculous that this guy didn't mention the Trail of Tears as one of the things he's most well known for. It's literally the thing he's MOST well known for. Infamous for. He was a tyrant.

Although Jackson did many great things he’s also very noted for his morbid treatment of the natives and ignoring the Supreme Court. I’d rather see Monroe, or Theodore Roosevelt on the 20 dollar bill

Great video. I haven't thought much about who's on money and why. Jackson didn't seem to be a great president in retrospect (I'm sure those were populist ideas in that century through) so Tubman would be cool. Just saying, I got a roll of Tubmans sounds cool.
