It turns out that since Nahida, we've only seen MEN as Limited 5*s, and Dehya being a standard 5*. I think Asmon has finally been conditioned. Just like the rest of us... I find myself extremely excited for a gorgeous 'man' named Neuvillette.
Give credit where it's due. Every 6 weeks Genshin put out a trailer like clockwork. Regardless you like the game or not, the developers are hard at work.

im so glad da wei personally gave a shout out to the writing team, theres so much hidden lore in the game in the form of writing that people overlook, the lore of gurabad and the subsequent city states legit read like a game of thrones episode. the writing most definetly deals with more mature topics compared to the main and some side quests
I am loving the lore in Fontaine so far. Exploring Elyans and discovering stuff about Jakob and René has been so... magical. Like, I was expecting to go to Merusea Village and just have some fun with the Melusines and help them out with trivial matters, but there's some really obscure stuff to be found there...
I don't know how they couldn't understand, the trailers make it so clear and accessible. It totally doesn't look like every anime game trailer ever made.

I would argue that we didn't had combat as great like tis since the Arkham free flow system. Genshin combat feels very good, it's fluid. It's easy to play, but hard to master.
I would be more impressed if he keeps reacting to Genshin while never touching the game itself till it's main conclusion at Celestia maybe 3-4 years along the line.

Don't get me wrong i play since 2020 and loves genshin but thats a REALLY high rating for a live service game with wacky storytelling and overall very few impactful updates in its history
Yet so many people still complain about the lack of content. They can argue that the content Genshin dishes out is not for them but to say that there is little to no content at all is just stupid. From 3.0 to 3.8 alone (roughly 1 year and 1 month) we've not only gotten: 5 map expansions (albeit one is a temporary event map) but we've also gotten a new element and new reactions for said element, 7 new Main story quests, 8 character quests, 8 event story quests, 1 - 3 major world quest-chains for each of those map expansions, a plethora of both combat and mini-game events each patch (9 patches), several albums of new soundtracks, 6 new artifact sets a bunch of new weapons both f2p and gacha several new enemies 2 new weekly bosses 7 world bosses and 17 characters (even if these are locked behind a gacha wall, that's company resources poured into making animations, kits, models, voice lines and lore) All of that the player can just play for free without having to spend money, aside from the characters of course, but you can still pull without spending a dime too just from all the primogems those events, quests and maps give you. All of that in 13 months and people still have the audacity to say this game provides no content. Edit: It's been only 1 patch for fontaine and we've already gotten a new exploration system with underwater traversal which also includes new mechanics for puzzles, 2 new Archon quests (it used to only be 1 Archon quest during the N.0 patch of any region btw but now we have 2), 3 new characters
Genshin has something most modern AAA games lack: decent story writing. (not saying that all of genshins story is amazing there are things people have reservations about, but damn better.)
They will add some kind of gun character. And it's not so far either. Clorinde is supposed to have a pistol. Also, no way they won't give us a gun character in Snezhnaya. We already have the Fatui gun agents.
We don't yet have AKs but we're going down the path towards them. Think about it - we first started with just bows. Then recently Mika brought along a Crossbow. Soon we'll have Chlorinde the Electric Mommy Waifu from France who is actually packing a blunderbuss... Who knows - maybe we'll have a rifle in the Spanish region.
I love Asmon but man it is annoying when they're all like "this anime guy is a girl", you guys should really check what otome games made for us women look like, it's just different beauty standards...

You might want a character that looks fun to play but at the end of the day you can clear literally everything with a 4 star team that's not even built properly, stronger build and teams are purely for satisfiction and fights overall take less time with them which is all about it. They also put primogems on lower point rewards on events that require points over fighting which allows early game players to earn the important stuff without having a strong team.
It may be a Gacha Game, but you dont need to be some overpowered character to enjoy the story they are telling. i.e. you dont have to put money in to enjoy it.

Honestly SAME. I've been wishing for a pugilist character for a long time too. They added Heizou and he was alright, but the Vi-esque rocket gauntlets on Wriothesley is just the icing on the cake. Not to mention how effing cool he looks

I get it that some people hate Genshin because they hate Anime, I can accept this people. BUT, the type of people that I can't accept is the one who play Genshin > spend money to pull for a character > fail to get that character > quit Genshin > posting stuff like "Genshin is lame" or "Genshin is boring".
Despite all Genshin's flaws, I can't help really liking the world and the characters. It has a great story. It suffers from some pretty awkward writing at times unfortunately, and very drawn out boring scenes. Still, I'm excited for the two new characters and the rest of Fontaine. I would love to see a character with just a straight up AK47 too. Maybe in Natlan. Hope they'll take advantage of that being the fire region and have characters with actual firearms.

He just sat there and watched it. Didn't say he liked it or hated it. What was the point of this video? Us watching him stare at his screen and make 2 comments throughout the whole thing. This guy so obviously uses genshin for views and money lmao. Which sucks because there are actually streamers who care so much about this game and then there's this dude who does the bare minimum and makes way more off of videos from this game (which he will never play) than they do. What a phony.

Yet so many people still complain about the lack of content. They can argue that the content Genshin dishes out is not for them but to say that there is little to no content at all is just stupid. From 3.0 to 3.8 alone (roughly 1 year and 1 month) we've not only gotten:
5 map expansions (albeit one is a temporary event map)
but we've also gotten a new element and new reactions for said element,
7 new Main story quests,
8 character quests,
8 event story quests,
1 - 3 major world quest-chains for each of those map expansions,
a plethora of both combat and mini-game events each patch (9 patches),
several albums of new soundtracks,
6 new artifact sets
a bunch of new weapons both f2p and gacha
several new enemies
2 new weekly bosses
7 world bosses
and 17 characters (even if these are locked behind a gacha wall, that's company resources poured into making animations, kits, models, voice lines and lore)
All of that the player can just play for free without having to spend money, aside from the characters of course, but you can still pull without spending a dime too just from all the primogems those events, quests and maps give you.
All of that in 13 months and people still have the audacity to say this game provides no content.
Edit: It's been only 1 patch for fontaine and we've already gotten a new exploration system with underwater traversal which also includes new mechanics for puzzles, 2 new Archon quests (it used to only be 1 Archon quest during the N.0 patch of any region btw but now we have 2), 3 new characters

Genshin has something most modern AAA games lack: decent story writing. (not saying that all of genshins story is amazing there are things people have reservations about, but damn better.)
They will add some kind of gun character. And it's not so far either. Clorinde is supposed to have a pistol. Also, no way they won't give us a gun character in Snezhnaya. We already have the Fatui gun agents.

@@xAngoryx I mean the thing is, time gated stuff are not forced at all they are optional. You might want a character that looks fun to play but at the end of the day you can clear literally everything with a 4 star team that's not even built properly, stronger build and teams are purely for satisfiction and fights overall take less time with them which is all about it. They also put primogems on lower point rewards on events that require points over fighting which allows early game players to earn the important stuff without having a strong team.

It may be a Gacha Game, but you dont need to be some overpowered character to enjoy the story they are telling. i.e. you dont have to put money in to enjoy it.

Honestly SAME. I've been wishing for a pugilist character for a long time too. They added Heizou and he was alright, but the Vi-esque rocket gauntlets on Wriothesley is just the icing on the cake. Not to mention how effing cool he looks

I always find the story and trailers and everything in genshin to be really cool. But maybe that's because I don't watch anime, so I don't really know any tropes other than the -dere stuff.

I get it that some people hate Genshin because they hate Anime, I can accept this people. BUT, the type of people that I can't accept is the one who play Genshin > spend money to pull for a character > fail to get that character > quit Genshin > posting stuff like "Genshin is lame" or "Genshin is boring".

Despite all Genshin's flaws, I can't help really liking the world and the characters. It has a great story. It suffers from some pretty awkward writing at times unfortunately, and very drawn out boring scenes. Still, I'm excited for the two new characters and the rest of Fontaine.
I would love to see a character with just a straight up AK47 too. Maybe in Natlan. Hope they'll take advantage of that being the fire region and have characters with actual firearms.

The story is at it's highest peak yet, if you liked the sumeru story then ur gonna love it. If you don't care about story at all then there is still some cool new underwater exploration which is suprisingly fun.
