Hi Deek love this shack how about coming to New Zealand and build some shacks. I have 10 acreas just out o whangarei north island would love to have you here in NZ.
LOVE THIS, and your other tiny shelter pods. Have u ever thought of building some of these for campgrounds? They could be rented out .... I'd stay in one.
Couple ideas. Double wall side door. One transparent and one exterior one insulated. That way you can have it in the winter shut to keep heat in. Shut on hot days to keep the green house effect from happening. Open one at anytime for light and climate control open both to have the same set up you have here. Bassically a prooper insulated roof that swings up and uder it this clear roof which can move separately up or down
2 A frames next to eachother with roofs opening into eachother creating a roofed hallway between the two. Add a bent gutter like peice of steel at the bottom of one that when folded up sits under the other roof slightly. Have a small link of chain on the end so the water has something to run down rather then fly off. Just trying to think of a way to have folding solid walls for the deckso its completely transformable.
How you do a small one like that yo it look nice as hell but the space im about to change up 19/15 look like a boxed in storage though it is im have to smaller it cause i build it not were the other was so im build two
Kara Reed's version is great. But what if you build that one twice and the second one mirrored and attached to the first off course. That would be a beauty. Just imagine. And it would still be cheap.
Nifty little space that is,but looks like it would be useless in Winter for heating,or do you have other models that are fitted with insulation and such?.
just bought the plan but could use some clairification like do I rip the 2 x 3's from the 2 x4's cause the 2 x 3's arnt in the materials list and the list isnt even in the plans(amongst other info). I had to grab the jpeg of that from the info page fron the plans.
Because it is so cheap to build you can make it extra beautiful. Most Tiny Houses it's the other way around. They are so expensive it defeats the purpose of living Tiny.
Plan sets for it are here... relaxshacks.myshopify.com/collections/all

Amazing work! are there Plans available in Metric? Planning to build one as a Playhouse/Guest Room inn our small Garden in Switzerland :)
Hi,.. Now this is a truly brilliant use of space with a multitude of possible variations.
Bravo 👋🌿
Love it - I see a summer project in my future. Just ordered the plans. Whoohoo 😊
Interesting... It is like a lean to and an a frame at the same time!
Sweet-I love the outdoor stage space!
Sangeeta Kaur Khalsa Yep!! Thinking....hmmm, not a bad idea. I think I might build one . Right now all of my gear is cluttering the living room.

I wish there were more resources for A-frames online.
There is an A-frame book that came out 10 years or so ago on their history, etc- it was pretty good....
Derek Diedricksen that's cool? Do you recall the name?

Does anyone know how to build a tiny Little House on the Prairie cabin
If I could buy something like this in 'beginner builder' kit just to learn I'd do it 😊

Like any structure ever, you can simply add insulation if you'd like. Thanks for checking it out!
im interested to buy the plan for this, justwant to ask if this house can withstand typhoons because i live in the philippines and typhoons are common
Does Airbnb have any problem with people renting these out?
very nice
How much could this thing weigh in total?
cool little deal but man that gutter is gonna cut half way through a leg someday!

You can use 2by4's too- 2by3's aren't available in some areas.
Love it.
Couple ideas.
do you have a video on Kara s a-frame?
Just a short one from way back...... search under her name and my channel....
Derek Diedricksen I found it, thx
