    I’m glad Janet told her own story for once. So many others have attempted to tell it and now we can hear directly from her. It was a great retrospective on her long career.

    The documentary was so good. I’m glad Janet got the opportunity to tell her life story the way she wanted to. I hope Hollywood don’t try to do a movie about her life because this was ALL we needed. It was from her it was true and unfiltered & unedited. Janet said that her and Justin was friend. If you a true friend you don’t let your friends go down the way the media tore Janet down. It wasn’t even that serious and they blew it way out of proportion. It was an accident. And he should’ve said something immediately but he went on and he career sky rocket because he was riding off black culture. They treated Janet like she was nothing … like she didn’t work hard for her career. Justin being white got everything handed to him.

I don’t even remember him saying anything bad about Britney, he only implied she cheated on him. I guess doing what someone advises you to do is trying to destroy them now.

She is the standard. Only thing is she was too nice to Dustbin Timberfake and didn't even mention the demon that tried to destroy her career. One of my favorites films ever their lives is so fascinating. And what they accomplished is so inspiring . Seeing everything from Janet perspective was very interesting. I learn shit cause I mainly only focus on Michael Jackson career. So it was new to me. Hearing rhythm Nation. A socially conscious record.. her and Mike was alike. He talk about that in his albums. Seeing them work together was special. Learn things. Performing at Las Vegas at 7. Wow. That crazy. I always made so a big deal how young Michael started cause it unusual. But, I'm old enough to remember when a lot of those things went down. I've followed her for years. I thought she was going to touch on her Diamond business and being a CEO of several companies. Two of her companies, she's been a CEO of since Pleasure Principal. I was a little surprised she didn't touch on her marriage to Wissam, but I understand because they are still married and it's her son's father. And, Wissam is extremely private, like Janet. Wissam comes from a powerful family with lots of money. Janet is familiar with the Middle East people and the way they do things because she's been doing business with them before she started dating Wissam. I remember seeing a picture of her and LaToya sitting somewhere at a formal event in the Middle East, and they were there for business. Don't get it twisted! • @verballynonverbal
      @verballynonverbal 2 года назад

      Those two things aren't mutually exclusive. Two things can be true at the same time.
      1. What she did was tell him to not make an official statement defending her while everyone was disassociating themselves from her in the media and industry, because she didn't want him to get burned in the fire and have his career or reputation suffer like hers was. Justin did not make an official statement on her behalf.
      2. But Justin did make sly remarks and innuendos to be left up to interpretation in a sneaky or funny way whenever anyone asked about it or made reference to the incident. Kind of like he did regarding things about Britney after their breakup whenever anyone asked about her. Sometimes not saying something in a certain moment or flat out laughing is as bad as agreeing with what the other person is saying. He didn't have to hold an entire press conference to defend her when it counted... especially someone who claims to be your friend. That should've hurt Janet.
