    What a crazy transition at the beginning of the video. Love the insights

    I'd like to add another essential mod that I did on my scram in the first week. Change the stock mirrors with Avenger Black mirror. It's a game changer in terms of build quality & field of view. The good thing is they don't look odd on Scram & suits the overall look of the bike.

    Good stuff...I just got the rackless tour system from rahgear ..it feels like I need a degree in structural engineering or have to be a genius in the tying of knots to mount the system...it is not intuitive...figured it out eventually and once I did, the harness was rock solid and stayed on the bike at high speeds or through bad roads....still wish you had a video of how you mounted it on the scram cause I have the same bike🤣

    What gloves are you using in the cold?
    Would you personally suggest Viaterra Tundra or Furygan Dirtroad in a budget around 5K?
    Very informative and insightful. More importantly straight to the point. Love your videos, should work on your presentation a lil.
    Happy miles brother!

      I cannot comment on the dirtroad, nobody in my community is using those. I have experience with Tundra and they are decent, you'd still need an underglove if its too cold, I have used it with plastic gloves and they were sufficiently decent. Right now I have a cheap winter glove with me, but I'll soon buy a new pair of Tundras. 😁
      Thanks for the kind words and constructive feedback, the right way to share feedback! Honestly in this video I wanted to maximise output to effort and kind of experimented with least effort. I didn't even edit the sound clipping in the beginning. Not that I'm lazy, just that I wanted to see the tradeoff between design and info. I'm evaluating whether to put time into editing beyond a certain level, only because I usually have less time from my work (and priority is always travel if theres free time). If my videos pick up, I'll have someone creative partner with me to solve this. 😁
      Long answer, but I love having a constructive dialogue so couldn't help myself. Wish you loads of happy fun on the road with your machine sir!!

    How is the in gear pickup, compared with 14T, with 15T front sprocket?

    • @harshit_chugh
      @harshit_chugh  14 дней назад +3

      I don't ride full throttle very often, so honestly didn't feel a lot of difference, except in 6th while cruising at about 80, there I feel bike has lost some torque rush. I have a video expanding on my opinions on this topic.

    • @mr.j4006
      @mr.j4006 14 дней назад +2

      Bro did change, i can tell you it increases 10km Speed in each gear and yes that torque surge you get at 6000 rpm in 5th and 6 gear is lost. But it doesn't mean bike became slow.

    Hello sir,,can i tour with pillion on scram,your insights about pillion comfort?

      @harshit_chugh  14 дней назад

      Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of insights into this. I hardly travel with a pillion. 😊

      Yes definitely you can tour with pillion no problem at all but I would recommend you to modify the seat with some cushions, that's a game changer.

    Hi, you mention the BMC air filter in your video, but the chapter listing also has FuelX in the text. Do you recommend installing both, or will the BMC be sufficient?

    • @harshit_chugh
      @harshit_chugh  13 дней назад +1

      Hey. No, just the air filter cuts it.
      Between the sprocket, air filter and my riding behavior I think the bike doesn't need more tuning for smoothness. I had been seriously contemplating a fuelx purchase but after having multiple messages exchanged with them, decided to not go ahead.
      Answer to your question is that just the air filter should do. But the more resources you have, more the playground you get ;)
      I'll edit the chapters.

    Buddy is it a bttr option as compared to himalayan 450? Considered touring nd not proper hardcore offroading

    • @harshit_chugh
      @harshit_chugh  11 дней назад +1

      I cannot answer that, depends on what you want in a bike.
      In general - if you hate heavy bikes, dont go for Him450 (it doesnt feel heavy on good roads though). If you like to tour with a pillion, I think Himalayan would be a better option given its easy to rack luggage on it. If you like good low end power, then choose Triumph. If you want reliability, I'd like to think Triumph is better. If you want ease of repair, then Himalayan. If you envision a proper big bike feel (big tank, tall visor etc), then its Himalayan.
      In stock form, Triumph is an okayish tourer btw. You'll have to reinvest some money saved from the low purchase price to make this a bike better. Brake pads, sprocket is a must.
      I chose this one because Himalayan didn't tune to my riding style at all. Also, I don't like how RE as a company is not receptive to bike issues, they have bought almost all influencers on social media. I was worried if my bike also had issues, what would be their reaction. And issues were very common on Himalayan450 when I was in the market.

    brother do you feel your front suspension unsettling or bouncing up and down on low speed on roads during moving traffic ? thats happening with me , is this a fork issue or something with the fork oil? i also own a scrambler400x

    I also recently bought the scrambler 400x… It’s also my first bike. Just one question what is the benefit of 15teeth sprocket?

    • @karma6762
      @karma6762 10 дней назад

      Not much, it makes 1st and second gear more usable making them go bit more till you need to change your gear. You will also feel more comfortable cruising at higher speed. The only downside is that it cuts off the surge in acceleration that scrambler is best known for.
