watching the video yesterday i was on the edge cuz it was like looking through a window of my life, My after having a miscarriage my ex fell into addiction and almost died from an OD, she pushed me away, i was broken, feeling useless, i couldn´t save her, fix her or care enough or it looked like no matter what i did..it wasn´t enough. i forgot the amount of times i yelled and cried so loud, that i only could sleep because passing out from exhaustion....sorry Amber, thank you mom.
Love this song so much; almost broke me yesterday listening to it. Definitely missing out not listening to their recent albums. Sleeps Society was my favorite album of last year. The last track on it, although not a song but more of a 7 minute thank you to the fans genuinely shows how passionate they are about what they do, and how appreciative they are of their fans. Also the whole music video being shot and directed by them and their personal crew is mental; the amount of effort and hard work they put into everything they do is insane.
I wasn’t able to cry out of pure shock until the 2nd time. The 3rd time, I absolutely lost it at the end when he is staring at his vehicle not going far enough to be fully submerged.
I’ll argue this is While She Sleeps’ best song in their discography, even without considering the music video. This has elements from all parts of their sound working together in such a cohesive, smooth way, despite these elements being kind of disparate in their sounds. I also love it because it’s one of those songs you instantly know the artist the second the sound waves hit your eardrums. This is a While She Sleeps song through and through. Truly beautiful art.
This song and video are pure art. WSS had an emotional song on the record before that called "Nervous" but it didn't go anywhere near this masterpiece in terms of message and visuals
Start from the beginning man. I love Brainwashed personally as a best album from them. But you’ll see the progression through their first to now. You Are We is definitely a perfect album for sure. I’m interested in this new album to see where they go with the evolution of their sound. Their last two albums kind of didn’t do it for me. But yeah start from the beginning of their discography. Brainwashed is just a heater.

Your EQ makes it extremely hard to keep watchin ur vids imo, try not to temper with the original audio....
