There are settings galore for this melody: Scheidt, Titelouze, de Grigny and I've been exploring them in the past weeks when practice time has been easier to find in my locked down life. I've come to quite enjoy it. The fact that it is a Phrygian mode melody ending in E whose beginning note is a swoop up from D is a great part of the enjoyment.
And Dwight Chapel gets to look so European because it is in fact the repurposed Old Campus library building and avoids all the New England Chapel vernacular styles that otherwise prevail.
