X-Eryri: Paragliding Hike&Fly Race 2021 (inc. analysis)

This is my experience of the inaugural X-Eryri paragliding hike & fly race based in Snowdonia, North Wales.
The aim of the race is for the competitors to collect points by travelling to as many of the summits over 600m in Snowdonia as possible and still make it back to Llanberis to finish. The further the summits, the greater the value and bonus points are available for completing additional challenges. It is a two day race with a mandatory rest period overnight. The competitors must only travel by foot or by paraglider.
After rescheduling several times throughout the summer, at the end of August we got the weather window we needed and 15 of the most committed pilots made the journey to take part and experience their own adventure within the beautiful and dramatic mountains of Snowdonia.

Unfortunately, I was filming using the wrong settings on my GOPRO, leading to shaky low-res footage - many lessons learnt.
