I think Elizabeth's remark about how viewing this movie allows viewers to reconnect with their pre-pandemic selves is particularly apt. The excitement of seeing it, some of us dressing up for the occasion, sitting there in the theatre and reconnecting with these loved characters was wonderful. Tom and Lucy's marriage marked a joyful start to the movie -- and I appreciate the growth several characters were undergoing. Hurrah for Tom, for Edith, for Thomas . . . .
Now I'm imagining what a third movie might focus on, a visit to New York 1929 and the stock market collapse, visiting Cora's brother?
Julian, Lord Fellows, what do you think?

And, Yes using a historical time like The Great depression and The Countess' Family. Does Cora's brother lose his yachts? Does THAT woman need help now, from the family in UK/France? That'll take the air out of her sails! But I absolutely love her character. Please keep writing. Please keep something good and to look forward too! ▪︎ the lighting I find is darker in Downton
▪︎Daisy didn't use the Tasting Spoon while stirring, tasting twice.
▪︎LORD Grantham's makeup makes him appear sun burnt.
▪︎The new Actress kept her elbows on the table at dinner. Was that deliberate? So we can be reminded she isn't British.

Robert lost his voice along with the weight - he seems weak both physically. All the younger women had facelifts and must have had fillers injected in the faces. They looked bad.
