Although Keichi's character is weak, he was clearly more talented to the point that Yabatani wanted to steal his credit so she should've known that had she just stuck with Keichi she could've wrapped him around her fingers and get a free ticket to a good life. Yet she decided to cheat and bail to be with that arrogant lowlife. They were practically begging to get in trouble, they would've gotten away with it too if it weren't for Nagisa and her water army.

By the way, about what happened to Yabatani and Mimika: apparently after getting fired from the company because of not only the wedding incident of having a affair but their true colors exposed on social media which caused Yabatani's account gets suspended due to violation of the media. Their parents found out about their affair and what they did to Keiichi so they cut ties with them. Now they're being forced to pay alimony to Keiichi for damages and for deformation on a fishing boat to the bering sea to catch tunas and a marlin in a worst storm. The death rates of the bering sea is way higher. After this, Yabatani and Mimika started blaming each other for having their lives ruined since the wedding incident and their affair have been exposed, they're been labeled as crazy psycho everywhere they go so they been ostracized by everyone. Couldn't take it anymore, they broke up. Mimika tried to get back together with Keiichi but it's too late since Keiichi is already married with Nagisa which shocks her and Keiichi ended up drove Mimika away and told her to never come back into his life again in a cold fury. Yabatani tries to find a job while posting his post on social media but he got rejected by every companies and he was banned on social accounts for a year after violating the account. So they got nothing now. What's your alternate/extra theory of Yabatani and Mimika's fate?

They reaped their own sowed but they blaming each other? Are they middle schooler or something? What they had done is a crime but blame that one of them did.
The girl committed marriage fraud so she should be going to jail. It's actually a pretty big deal in most Asian countries. They also stole his wedding clothes which were heirlooms and could also go to jail for that as well.
And that's why never be too kind everyone! Because some people will take advantage of your kindness that if something horrible happened when you helped them too much, they would put all the blame towards you. Yabatani stole everything from Keiichi because he's taking advantage of him. His credit at work, position and Mimika. I like how Nagisa called Keiichi out for being too naive to stop being too kind because she's so worried about him that she wants to helped him in order to straight him up and give him confidence after Yabatani and Mimika posted the wedding video. I'm glad Nagisa hired Keiichi not only they're close to each other, but also she knows that he's a competent person.
Very funny that those two are being called crazy psychos for being cruel to Keiichi in that video. They thought they became famous, but it backfired and their acc got suspended. That's karma for them! It's hilarious that Yabatani blames him for that when he's the one who tries to make Keiichi look bad when it's common sense to most people that those two are the bad ones in their video. I think an interesting story for these channels is a story of the Mc breaking up with his girlfriends because they met the guy picking on the Mc.
Basically, keiichi would have a GF during… say Highschool but after encountering the popular guy in school while on a date, his GF cheats on him giving him trauma which makes Keiichi break up with his girlfriends thinking they’d just cheat on him for someone better.
Eventually, he meets a girl who’s gone through the exact same thing. The two become friends and then boyfriend and girlfriend. While on a date, the popular guy encounters Keiichi again and starts to hit on his girlfriend.
Keiichi finally had enough and punches the popular guy, telling him to stay away from him GF and himself. Keiichi’s GF would also go up to the popular guy and rejecting him, telling him how she doesn’t guys like him.
Later, Keiichi in a Cafe, is in a bit of panic for what he did but his GF assures him that it’s alright. While enjoying drinks, keiichi’s past girlfriends appeared, keiichi is surprised but his current GF. She goes onto to say how they were all friends and how she called them here for closure.
They all sit down and keiichi apologizes for breaking up with all of them in the past because of his insecurities. The exs apologize too, for not being more considerate of keiichi but wish him and his current gf luck.
About 2 years later keiichi would get married to his GF. And the fate of the popular guy? Well he got caught by the husband of a married woman and was forced to pay alimony and rumours on how he stole other guy GFs spread like wildfire so no girl dated him,
An interesting twist here. Usually, the ex would want to start over, but Keiichi saw through that the ex is still the same gold digger, so she's rejected and flees in humiliation. In here, the ex is more genuine in experiencing a humble pie, accepts that they'll never get together again, and it seems that she has stopped being a gold digger since that incident.
I do want to share an idea that can probably be adopted. So... let's switch the perspective around.
Let's say that Keiichi is put on the shoes of the antagonist. He's getting high on the newfound fame and even gets to marry a beautiful girl all while looking down onto others. But then, the antagonist, who was already at the working class, concocted a plan to ruin Keiichi's reputation. In instant, Keiichi goes from being famous and beloved into an ultimate pariah, and everyone uses the 'moral high ground' card and being very vindictive to isolate Keiichi further.
Keiichi ends up being humbled and depressed, ending up in a sweatshop. He eventually realized he screwed up thanks to being drunk on power and pride, now paying the price. However, parts of his moral compass still remained. He swore to change. However... this is easier said than done. No one ever wants to let him forget his mistake. Everytime Keiichi tries to help someone, he gets rejected and pelted away like a freak.
But Keiichi never gives up. He stops caring about being pelted away and treated like an eternal monster, he will keep doing what he thinks is right.
Until eventually, he saves someone peculiar: the heroine.... I think I'm gonna go with Yui. I think the role is exchangeable between her, Nagisa and Noa, but Yui tends to play as this heroine who started out in some sort of distress. Anyway, Keiichi is at first surprised that Yui is appreciative of his help, rather than getting freaked out and shunning him even further. She then repays his kindness by giving him a place to work and stay.
And... well... it's not even a smooth start at first: Everyone in Yui's place are freaked out with Keiichi, treating him like those who trashed him. But every time they go out of line, Yui will reprimand her co-workers about Keiichi, and even Keiichi proves himself from time to time that he wants to atone. He never denies that he used to be a scumbag. Eventually, slowly, everyone in Yui's place is moved and genuinely believes that Keiichi is truly atoning for his sins. They go from rejecting him into becoming his supporters.
The story could end here with Keiichi finally finding redemption and Yui eventually becoming his girlfriend/wife. But we can have an extra scenario:
One day, Keiichi eventually bumped back to the antagonist that made him pariah. The antagonist absolutely refuses to believe that Keiichi has atoned. He starts going holier than thou, because he is so assured that he has the moral high ground, or rather, was in the usual position of Keiichi in the AoHaru Manga Library, being the former oppressed poor guy by the high and mighty elite. He even has his bunch of followers who worships him because he also supports their vision of a world of justice and there is no mercy for evildoers, evildoers must pay the biggest karmic payback. Having seen this, Yui and her men stood for Keiichi, chewing out the antagonist for not recognizing that sometimes, even sinners come to their senses and can genuinely atone. Yui and her men then get ridiculed as a bunch of overly naive sheeps who are just waiting for the time until Keiichi stabs them in the back.
Eventually, Keiichi makes a bold declaration, one that's even recorded by a particularly quick friend of Yui who's good at social media: He admits to the world that he used to be a scumbag who deserved all the hatred to him. And he will not be able to live that down and will probably live with the shame of the black mark of his life. And most likely, no matter how many times he apologizes, he would find rejection. But that's okay, he decides that this is his punishment and have been bearing this for years. Even if Yui and friends are there to support him and believing him, which he treasures, he will still find hatred towards him... but this won't affect him to keep moving forward in his new life.
The antagonist doesn't believe it. But then, it was posted on social media and instead went viral, with half of the social media finally sympathizing with Keiichi, though another half still don't buy it. To no one's surprise, most of the naysayers tend to be the antagonist's simps. In desperation of keeping his clout, the antagonist ends up losing his cool and getting exposed as someone who acts so holy and pure only to get more attention and can stand on the moral high ground to look down onto others. Well, he loses that moral high ground now, the simps start leaving him one by one while expressing regrets that they ever fell for his words and he becomes the next pariah of social media, one that got an even worse deal than what Keiichi experienced. Keiichi instead ignores all those flame wars, he has a new, better life to experience with Yui.

This was referenced in my school vr game where in the latest mission called Go big or go home where after Goalius lost Ryuko Matoi to the Tri Titan and the bosses were the Tri Titan dad and uncle that being the upgraded scientist Skibidi toilet and the G man Skibidi toilet and there is a very important thing to note where during the attempted forced suicide Goalius isn't doing the act and he smashed the TV screen (at first I thought it was because of protection which wasn't the case as it was knocked off by a intervening Lysander but the real reason is the reflection in the upgraded scientist Skibidi toilet where Goalius has human eyes even though he's a demon) and fyi Ryuko Matoi tried her best to get involve but was pinned offscreen and she witnessed G man Skibidi toilet torture (stab to the eyes then a side winder missile storm to his weapons and a double sonic blow out which caused g man Skibidi toilet to end his pain and his own life) and fyi there was this cloaked person who was with Goalius
Kudos to the male VA, he managed to create such a "beta" sounding character that I wasn't able to watch this without speeding it up to 4x (using addons). Cause at my normal watching speed of 2.5x I wanted to punch my monitor and switch that video off.
