Problem is in many countries, the XT version alone costs more than 100 dollars, even 150.

definitely needed this video I've had the rx 6600 for 2 years and all i play is call of duty, I am in the process of upgrading cup and mb as well as monitor, been using i3-8100 with a 60 hz 1080p monitor for 7 years, been needing to upgrade haha, at least I can stick with my rx 6600 for a while

great video for a great gpu. bought my used Sapphire 6600 with box in early 2022 for $130 - still the best buy of my life.
And now with frame gen it will last a long time!

This is my first PC and the rx 6600 is the best card for my needs got a ryzen 5 5600 and a rx 6600 and 16 GB RAM for 535 USD + with a A520M-VHS motherboard and a case with a 650 watt psu and its one of the best budget cards and the performance level is around a rtx 3050 - rtx 3060 maybe even a rtx 3060 ti

bought one for 350 a few years. just this week tho im getting no signal when booting but after pc been on a while(heat?) she starts working. not sure if card is dying but i got my moneys worth out of it. had to use my GT 1030 😭

I actually just built my first PC with this as my main card.
I kept it at a $600 budget and didn’t need anything too powerful since I have a PS5 as well. Just to run indie games with friends and stuff.
It’s a great little card and is even pretty capable for autoCAD since I’m an engineering student too

What cpu are you pairing it with? Also have you tried doing any graphic heavy tasks such as video editing or animation? Is it good?
@@staleemperor6890 I’m running a Ryzen 5 5600X with it. In terms of heavy lifting. I do Matlab, Fusion 360, and Blender. I haven’t done any video editing, but I’ve always heard to go Nvidia.
Though a big draw is also the SSD you use. My mobo supports Gen 4 Nvme so speeds have been really fast imo.
Though the reason I went RX 6600, is simply down to price. College isn’t cheap, and a 3070 is like 3x the price for only 2x the performance gains. Not a good value proposition in terms of performance per dollar spent.

You would get around 200ish FPS.
I don’t know what country you are from but you should be able to get a 1TB SSD for what you can get that HdD for…

@@boysforgaming4008 not at all, anything is better than nothing so get what's within your budget. If that means getting a hard drive, I advise you look for an affordable 7200RPM drive and nothing slower, it's nowhere near SSD speeds but it's still viable. Also make sure you use your hard drive for games and applications, and use your SSD as the OS drive, good luck! :)
so what cpu should everyone get for suitable and not getting bottleneck rx 6600?
The ryzen 5600, ryzen 7500f or the 12600kf are all good options
the starfield is a very bad benchmark because it's in an enclosed space, while the game is open world. if you go out into the open world it's going to be much worse than in a small area otherwise the rest of the test is really good
I have changed my Starfield test to New Atlantis… I gotta a lot of these comments lol
With the rx6600 on Fortnite performance mode the fps were stable ?? You were able to stay above 165fps for ok the game, do you reccomanded a build with the rx6600 i512600kf for playing Fortnite, warzone, roblox ??
I thinks it’s fine! It doesn’t run better on DX12 instead of performance mode as far as the drops go, but I also am not testing it in stacked in game lobbies

That’s such an overused term…. I dont do anything to my tests other than enable XMP on the RAM. Its the best in my opinion to give people a realistic expectation
