Router Table Build // Part one - Base Cabinet

This is a DIY mobile router table. I used a JessEm lift with a Dewalt fixed base router. This gives me a dedicated space to use my router and even more tool storage, which always seems to be something I need more of!

Great build. You were correct on the vent holes for the router motor space. Volume of air exiting needs to be the same as entering.

I have already used the finished router table for an extensive kitchen project (will be the next set of videos after these), and I am very happy with the JessEm Lift. The adjustability and accuracy has been great. The only drawback is that since this version doesnt have the seperate dial to move quickly, it takes a lot of turning to lift the bit all the way up to change it out. But considering the price difference to the models with that option, I think it is a fair tradeoff.

Not much. Eevery now and then (prob every few months) I do clean out the middle compartment.
